*Danny's point of view*

The next morning, I called the number that Kaylie had given me the night prior at the party and she answered.

"Danny?" Kaylie answers

"How'd you know it was me?" I joked as she chuckled.

"I gave you the number to my second phone I just got. No one has this except you."  She reveals and I sit there stunned.

"So, what are you up to?" I ask Kaylie.

"Nothing, just laying here. Alejandro went to do some business."

That business is more than likely about Ant and I from last night at his party.

"Oh, well. How about I take you to breakfast?" I offered

"At 12:30 in the afternoon?" She asks confused

"Brunch then." I cleared up

"That's more like it. Sure, where can I meet you?"

"I heard there's a Cabana on the east side."

"Yeah! I love that place, what time?"

"Now, I'm almost there." I say back

"Alright, I'm on my way!" And we hang up.

"Cabana huh?" Ant's voice says behind me and I jumped.

"Just for brunch." I said to him and he smirks.

"Am I invited or?" He jokes "I'm kiddin, keep your head on a swivel." He says as he walks to the living room.

"What's your real feelings about it?" I asked him truthfully and he sighs "Be honest, no bullshit."

"I think she's playin' you." He folds his arms together "She's with Alejandro and after what happened last night, she wants to have brunch? I wouldn't trust it." He comes clean and I nod my head.

"That's why I have a gun." I smiled "I'll be fine bro, you don't have to worry." I reassured him "I'll be back in an hour."

*An hour later- Cabana*

A beachfront restaurant. Perfect food for any time of the day. I decided to use a psychological approach that I learned years ago. Yet, Ant's words were in the back of my head, so I played it cautiously because he's right.

I walked in and spotted Kaylie as she throws me my watch.

"Don't touch my shit, Kaylie." I say with a smile

"Oh, shut up." And she hugs me. "You look nice."

"Thanks, you look even better than ever."

"Thank you Danny."

My plan's in motion.

"Yeah. So, how's Alejandro?" I get to the point and she shrugs.

"Handling business, like always." She smiles about him. "So, why'd you want to meet up?"

Be truthful Danny.

"I've changed." I give her the most serious look. "I've changed so much because of you. What happened in New York was ..." I stopped mid sentence.

"Danny ...." She looks at me with disappointment. "You can tell me all of this, but how would I be able to trust you?" She asks me and I remain silent. "Exactly my point." She gets up to leave, but I grab her hand.

"Wait." I say before pulling a small box out of my right pocket. Once she sees it, I open it and there it was.

"You kept it." She says

*Flashback- New York*

"It's so beautiful." Kaylie says

"Got that from Mrs. Queen of England herself." I smiled at the necklace and she looks at me in shock. She couldn't believe it.

"This necklace is perfect." She says as she puts it down.

*Present Day*

"Yeah I did." I say as I begin to put it around her neck. "It just needed someone to help look better."

"Oh my, it's beautiful." She said as she looks at it.

"Danny?

"Yeah?" I say as she leans in.

"You're pathetic." She whispered and I'm stunned, my plan didn't work. "Oh, and pay more attention." She throws me my wallet. This screams Anthony's teachings.

As she leaves, I sit there at the top and my phone buzzes. It's a text from Ant, saying:

"How'd it go?" And I type away in frustration.

"I'm on my way back, see you soon." And I hit send
