(Nadia quickly gets out of bed and heads to Mahad's room)
Nadia: (alarmed) Mahad!
(Nadia rushes to Mahad's side, feeling his forehead)
Nadia: (panicked) Latif, come quick! Mahad's burning with fever!
Latif: (groggily) What's going on?
Nadia: (frantic) He's unconscious!
Latif: (not bothering) He'll be fine. Let him sleep.
Nadia: (concerned) Fine? Latif, he's unconscious!
Latif: (disinterested) It's just a fever. He'll be okay by morning.
Nadia: (angrily) How can you be so calm? My son is seriously ill!
Latif: (irritated) Don't overreact, Nadia. He's just sick. It happens.
Nadia: (tearfully) Take him to the hospital!
Latif: (refusing) No need. He'll be fine.
Nadia: (frustrated) At least call the doctor!
Latif: (yawns) Tell Rashida (the maid) to handle it. I'm going back to sleep.
Nadia: (incredulous) You're going to sleep?! Our son is unconscious!
Latif: (irritated) Nadia, don't drama. Rashida will take care of it.
Nadia: (angrily) This isn't drama! Mahad needs medical attention!
Latif: (disinterested) Rashida will call the doctor. I'm tired.
Nadia: (outraged) You're his father! How can you be so indifferent?
Latif: (rolls over) Goodnight, Nadia.
Nadia: (to Rashida) Quick, Rashida! Get a bowl of cold water and some fever strips for Mahad.
Rashida: (urgently) Yes, madam!
(Nadia quickly dials the doctor's number)
Nadia: (to the doctor) Doctor Sahib, it's Nadia. Mahad's unconscious with a high fever.
Doctor: (concerned) How high is the fever?
Nadia: (worried) I don't know, I'm checking now.
(Rashida returns with the water and fever strips)
Nadia: (to Rashida) Help me apply the strips.
(Nadia checks Mahad's temperature)
Nadia: (to the doctor) It's 104 degrees!
