(Hey everyone

There's a request to complete the target from the previous chapter while also enjoying this one and complete its target as well).

Recap

Omar: "Come on, you two! You guys just won't stop talking. You're chattering away like the neighborhood aunties!"

Ibrahim (chuckling): "It's fine, Baba. This way Mahad will feel more comfortable with us, and let Yusuf talk too! He's used to talking all day in class; now he's finally found someone willing to listen!"

Continue

Yusuf: "Coming, Baba. Let's go before they come to drag us out!"

Mahad (chuckling): "Sure, let's go."

With that, they headed to dinner, chatting along the way. As they ate, Ibrahim's IV was also finishing up. Omar removed the saline bottle, leaving the needle in his hand, and gave him his medicine.

After dinner, it was time for bed. Yusuf insisted on sleeping with Ibrahim and Mahad, so Omar let them all stay in Ibrahim's room while he went to his own. The trio lay in bed, but Ibrahim quickly fell asleep due to the medication, while Mahad and Yusuf stayed up, talking until 2:00 a.m.

Meanwhile...

Omar entered his room. After changing, he sat on the bed and received a call from Nadia. Rolling his eyes, he picked it up.

Nadia: "Hello, Omar."

Omar: "Yes?"

Nadia: "How's Mahad?"

Omar: "He's happy with us and sleeping now."

Nadia: "Thank God. Okay, I'll call him tomorrow. But I need to discuss something with you."

Omar: "What's it?"

Nadia: "Omar, I have videos of Latif torturing my son, and I'm going to file a case against him."

Omar: "So what do you want from me?"

Nadia: "I want you to support me-not for me, but for my child."

Omar: "What kind of support are you asking for now, Nadia?"

Nadia: "I want you to help Mahad feel comfortable with you, and explain things to him so that when he's questioned in court, he can speak up."

Omar: "Hmm, okay. I'll try my best."

Nadia: "Thank you so much."

Then Omar also went to sleep.

The next morning, Yusuf went to his university while Mahad and Ibrahim stayed home. Omar made sure they ate their breakfast and then called Adil to come check on Ibrahim.

As they waited, Omar turned to Mahad.

Omar: "Mahad, do you want to join college now or would you prefer some time, my baby?"

Mahad: "Baba, whatever you think is best, I'll do that."

Omar: "No, beta, it's your decision. We'll do whatever you decide."

Ibrahim: "Yes, take your time and think about it, Mahad. If you want to rejoin your old college or get admission in a new one, or if you want to wait a bit, it's all up to you. Whatever you feel comfortable with."

Mahad: "Baba, my old college is quite far from here. So whatever is easier for you, go ahead with that. And as for starting, it's fine with me whether it's now or later."

Omar: "Still, beta, think it over. We'll go with whatever makes you comfortable."

Mahad: "Okay, Baba."
