The pilgrims continued their journey through the vast and ancient China, moving closer to their final destination. After the challenging tests with Cherry, the embodiment of Gluttony, they felt more united and strengthened in their bonds. Tang Sanzang led the group with determination, while his disciples, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, animatedly discussed the lessons they had learned in recent encounters.
As they traversed a dense, lush forest, they came upon a clearing illuminated by sun rays filtering through the leaves. At the center of the clearing stood an imposing mansion, its stone walls adorned with rich tapestries and intricate designs that reflected the wealth and opulence of a kingdom.
“It looks like we've found something interesting,” said Sun Wukong, eyeing the mansion with curiosity. “Let's check it out.”
The pilgrims approached the mansion and were soon greeted by elegantly dressed guards. “Welcome to the realm of Shiliang, where your presence is a pleasure,” said one of the guards respectfully. “Duke Asmodeus awaits you. He would like to meet you.”
