Emma woke up to the sound of a loud lady-like shriek.
"Caspar!" Joe yelled. She lazily got up, rubbing her eye and grabbing her towel. A hot shower seemed so nice right now. She entered the shower, the hot water felt soothing. Her mind went to last night. After finishing the ice cream tubs (and her winning) Caspar and Emma talked all night and that's probably why she woke up at 12pm. She walked out of the shower quickly changing into some jeans and a t-shirt. She blowed dry her hair, getting some "Holy shit! Emma you scared me with that thing!" from Joe.
As she walked out, with no makeup on, she grabbed a bowl and poured some cereal. Emma wasn't very fond of makeup. She wears it daily, but just a little foundation and concealer and mascara. Sometimes she'd do her eyeliner but that was a struggle and she'd rather not. Joe smiled as she approached him on the couch. He was laying down but soon moved his feet so she can sit.
"What are you watching?" Emma asked, confused as to why she was seeing elephants.
"A documentary... on elephants." Joe said, shyly covering his face.
"Lame." Emma grabbed the remote and ended up on Doctor Who. Joe perked up and sat concentrated on the show. This has been Joe and Emma's favorite thing to watch since they were little. Other than Harry Potter.
Joe's feet were placed on Emma's lap as she laid back eating her cereal and watching the show. They spent an hour in that same position until a new show came on. Joe groaned. "God, now I have to try thinking of a new video idea." It's not Sunday yet, ( it was literally Tuesday) but Joe always liked to be ahead of the game. Emma shot him some ideas but he kept denying some, saying he already did them, or it wasn't too good. He then looked at Emma. Her face was so beautiful. Her light pale skin was all natural. He realized she wasn't wearing makeup, which he thought she was. And then it hit him.
"A roommate tag!" He exclaimed. "Not really a tag, but introducing you and answering some roomate tag questions. What do you say Emma?"
She laughed, "No." She grabbed her bowl and placed it on the sink. Joe bugging along behind her.
"Oh, come on! Please?" He looked up at her with puppy dog eyes. She shook her head saying, 'No' again.
Joe grabbed her hand as she tried to walk away pulling her towards him, making their chest collide and she looked up at him. His green-blue eyes brightening up the room. He holds her close, his hand on the small of her back. "Come on, Emma. It won't be bad." They were oddly too close to each other. Joe always does this. Since they were kids. He holds her and nuzzles her and she ends up agreeing.
"I-I just. I don't know..." She speaks so softly into his chest. He cups her face and brings her eyes to meet his.
"You could do it with Zoe. You can with me. It's not that bad. Our fanbase isn't that crazy, love."
She sighs in defeat. She can't say no to Joe. As much as she'd like to, nobody can say no to that face. "Fine." Joe hugs her tightly and cheers loudly, pulling her to his room and setting up his lights and camera.
Emma just sat there watching him. How he'd reach high to put the lights up and how his shirt would go up and you could see his v-line and boxers. Emma blushed at her thoughts. She always found Joe so cute. She had a crush on him during their teen years. But Joe constantly saw her as a friend only.
"All set?" Joe asked, sitting down next to her. Really close. Emma nodded, smiling at the boy. He continued, "We're just going to do the best friend tag, because you are. Caspar will be so mad though. I hope he doesn't walk in."
He begins to fix his hair before taking a deep breath. Looking at the camera. "Hi guys! I'm here with my great friend, Emma." He puts his arm around her, pulling her closer than they already were. "Hi guys!" She smiles, waving her hand with a gigantic grin. Joe laughs a little but continues. "Emma has long dreamed to live in London and with no hope on finding an apartment. She landed here. With Caspar and I."
"So we're here today to do the bestfriend tag!" She cheers. Joe swings his arms up cheering.
"Alright, first question," Joe had gave her the assignment of reading the questions. "How and when did you meet?"
Joe shakes his head. "Well, she lived a couple houses down ours and she was in my class. We had like all the same classes throughout our whole school life. We were six and I "harrassed her." He put up his fingers in quotation marks, and shook his head.
"You cut my ponytail off! Imagine just sitting there eating your crackers and coloring and then you feel a whole weight being lifted of your head. I had really long hair! I had to have a pixie cut for the whole year. People called me a boy. All thanks to, Joe" She shoved him slightly and he laughed, grabbing her side and pulling her to him. "But you love me." He said, pulling her close as she tried to be released.
"Anyway," She started as she escaped his hug. "His mom called my mom, apologizing and then we began to have play dates and Zoe and Joe became my best friends."
"What were your first impressions of your friend?" Joe smirked. "I thought she was cute and annoying. Her long hair bringing me towards her. I wanted to get her attention so that happened." He looked at me smirking, and telling me my first impression better be good.
"I was just like, this little shit did not just." Joe bursted out into laughter.
"Whats your favorite memory together?" They both stayed in silence, as they thought about it.
"I think my favorite moment with you is the dance." Emma smiled and nodded, "That's my favorite too! We were at a school dance and my date left me in the middle of it, so I went outside to cry because my heart was broken and Joe here came outside to comfort me, hugging me and telling me how much of a jerk the guy was. Thats when I knew Joe was the best friend ever. Sorry, Zoe." Joe chuckled and wrapped his arm around her as she read the next question.
"Describe each other in one word." The smiled at each other. "Lets countdown and say it at the same time." Joe began to count down and when we reached one, they said in usion "Annoying."
"That brings us to our next question. One thing that annoys you about the other person." Emma thinks hard. There are so many things that annoys her. "I can't chose one. But I think the one that annoys me so much is that you always call me at the worst time." Joe laughed and nodded. "It's true!" Emma began to laugh, "You do NOT understand how many times this guy has called me during dates." She put her hand in her face and shook her head, remembering the time he called her mid-steamy make out session.
"Well what annoys me is how you eat sometimes. Like she can go to eating normally, to eating like a slob." Emma looked away, trying to contain her laugh. She got up leaving the room and going to the kitchen. Joe waited, looking at the camera, "I don't even want to know what she's about to do." Emma looked at Caspar in the kitchen, asking him curiously, "Do you have a bag of chips?" He looked at her confused and gave her a bag of potato chips. "Thanks!" She ran to Joe's room walking in eating the chips like a slob.
"Oh no! Emma! Not on camera please." His glare stayed on her as she sat down and put a mouthful of chips into her mouth, munching it loudly and getting all over Joe's face as he tried to push her off. "Stop it!" He said laughing.
"Are you guys filming a video without me?!" Caspar exclaimed. Jokingly having a mad face on.
"It's not what it looks like." Joe said, trying to act serious but broke when Caspar started to laugh as he sat down on Joe's bed. In between Joe and Emma.
"I don't give a shit." He said, smiling at the camera goofinly."Join us, Caspar. Joe's two bestfriends. He'll ask the question and we'll answer."
They all agreed and Joe asked the next question and the whole video was with a lot of screaming of Emma and Caspar as Joe pleaded they didn't yell, plus of them saying random shit.
"Emma should do a video with me."
