Joe sat in his room, thinking about how in that moment, Caspar and Emma were on the couch cuddling. When did this happen? How did she not tell him? His thought were interrupted as a ring spread loudly in his room. He picked up his phone, not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Hello?" He said, adjusting himself on his bed.

"Hey!" A loud shrieking voice ringed in his ears.

"Jessica? Hey.." He spoke so softly, taken off guard. She usually never calls.

Emma walked in her room, slowly. She noticed she came in a bad time, and mouthed 'sorry.'
He shook his head motioning her to stay. She walked to the edge of his bed and sat down.

"I was wondering, if you wanted to grab breakfast with me. I'm close by your apartment. I can come pick you up?" She asked, clear hope in her voice. Joe looked at Emma, who was staring at the floor, but soon Caspar came in. He smiled at Emma, giving her a high five but entwining their fingers a little. He rolled his eyes mentally. Ew.

"Uh- yeah. Sure." He said without thinking. He doesn't know why he said yes but he hated that he did. He started to find Jessica really annoying. She was literally your typical annoying girl. She had blonde hair and tan skin and a high voice. She was also from America. Now he's not saying Americans are annoying but she's the type of girls even Americans find annoying. He liked how Emma was. She was timid and quiet. Short and adorable. Her hair always falling perfectly over her shoulder. Always strands getting in her face and he loved the way she'd tuck it behind her ear and how her cheekbones standed out so neatly.

He shook his head, realizing Caspar and Emma were playing around with the toys his fans send.

"Sooo," Emma begins, seeing he's off the phone. "Who was that?" She wiggles her eyebrows, giving him a smirk. He rolls his eyes, throwing his throw pillow at her. She laughs, her hair messing up and a smile forms on his lips. But, Caspar tackled her, hovering over her, their bodies oddly too close. He began to make her hair messier and his smile faded. Joe quickly got up and began to change. Making himself presentable for his- well, he doesn't know what Jessica is to him. A girlfriend? An almost girlfriend?

He hated how oddly close Emma and Caspar became. It's only been a month and they're like bestfriends now? Maybe more? It angers Joe. She's his. Not Caspar's.

As he's looking at himself in the mirror he begins to think about the time he comforted Emma at the dance.

Emma weeped, "W-what?" She asked, not fully processing it.

"He left with Amanda. Something about, doing it, i think." The girl sheepishly smiled at her. Giving Emma the devil eyes, before flipping her hair and walking away.

Emma stood there. Speechless. How could he do this to her? Is she not perfect enough? Obviously compared to Amanda she isn't. She's tall, fit, and popular. Emma is just... there. She began to cry, running out of the gym.

Joe looked for her, hearing what happened, because thats how quickly shit like this spreads. He knew his bestfriend must be heartbroken. And he doesn't want to know the things she'll do. He asked around, "Have you seen Emma?" But everyone just shook their heads and shrugged. He began to get furious, rushing out of the gym, leaving his own date behind. He looked around but suddenly it hit him. The roof. She always goes there when she needs alone time. So he went to the back of the school, climbed the latters and he spotted the short girl.

"E-Emma?" Joe said, so softly but she still flinched. She wiped the tears, "Oh, Joe. I'm fine. You should go back. I'm fine."

"You're not fine." He said, walking up to her and turning her around, giving her a tight warm Sugg hug. She lost it. She began to sob like crazy and all Joe could do was rub her back and tell her it was all going to be okay.
