Ritik looked at Devi who was holding a mic in her hand. She smile looking at him, Ritik furrowed and turn back only to find Kabir standing behind him.

His face was showing a disappointment, knowing that his little wife is confessing to Kabir not him.

Devi's voice trembled as she stood before Ritik, her eyes locked on his. The birthday party crowd faded into the background, and all that mattered was this moment.

"Ritik, from the day I met you, I knew you were different," she began, her words barely above a whisper.

Ritik's expression remained passive, his mind elsewhere. But Devi's next words shook him to the core.

"I love you, Ritik. I love how you make me laugh, how you hold my hand when I'm scared. I love your kindness, your generosity... your heart."

Ritik's gaze snapped back to Devi, confusion etched on his face. Who was she talking to?

Devi's hands reached out, and she gently placed them on Ritik's cheeks. "You, Ritik. I'm talking to you. My husband, my chidkya professor, my everything."

Ritik's eyes widened as realization dawned. Tears welled up, and his voice cracked. "Devi...?"

She smiled, her eyes shining with tears. "I know I'm young, and our marriage was arranged, but I've grown to love you more with each passing day, Ritik. Forgive me for hurting you."

The room fell silent, with all eyes on the couple. Ritik's birthday cake, once the center of attention, now seemed insignificant.

Ritik's face crumpled, and he pulled Devi into a tight hug. Tears streamed down his face as he whispered, "No Devi forgive me for what I did. I love you too, I love you, I love you so much."

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, but Ritik and Devi were lost in their own world. Kabir, standing at the periphery, looked on, his expression a mix of emotions both happy and sad.

Happy for his friend who finally got her love but sad for himself that he couldn't get his love. He will stay just a friend to her for their entire life.

As Ritik and Devi shared their emotional moment, Anika stood beside Kabir, her eyes fixed on his profile. The pain and longing in her heart finally found words.

"Kabir," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the celebratory cheers.

Kabir turned, his expression guarded, still reeling from Devi's confession to Ritik.

Anika's hands trembled as she reached for his. "I'm sorry, Kabir. Sorry for my past mistakes, for doubting you, for not being the wife I should have been."

Kabir's gaze searched hers, seeking sincerity. Anika's eyes, brimming with tears, spoke volumes.

"Anika, I..." Kabir's voice trailed off, his defenses crumbling.

Anika's fingers intertwined with his, a gentle please. "Forgive me, Kabir. Give me another chance. I promise to make it right, to be the partner you deserve."
