Andre's pov:
"AH!"
Thud!
"Tori!" I quickly dangled myself out of the railing before seeing Tori stand up inside the dumpster " I'm fine." she said.
"Oh thank god! try to call someone! " Tori quickly patted herself searching for the phone, " I don't have the phone! I gave it to Jade!"
I immediately climbed back inside the railing and called out for Jade, but even how loud I was shouting Jade didn't come down to the fire exit "Why isn't she coming down?" Tori shouted.
Realizing something might have happened to her I decided to move and check on her.
" Jade!? Jade?!"
My mind racing faster than my legs could carry me. As soon as I reached the rooftop, All I found was an empty deck. She was nowhere to be seen.
Jade was gone-just gone. One second she was with us, the next she had vanished like she was never there. I couldn't make sense of it, but there was no time to think. I had to find her.
The dimly lit stairway was eerily quiet as I dashed through them, my footsteps echoing off the stairs "Jade!" I yelled again, my voice sounding hollow in the empty space. No response. Panic gnawed at my insides. Where could she have gone? Why didn't she follow us?
I reached the halls again, bursting through the door, expecting to find something-anything. But there was nothing. No sign of a struggle, no note, no indication that Jade had been there at all.
My thoughts were spinning. Was she hiding? Or worse, had someone taken her? The thought made my stomach twist, but I couldn't let fear paralyze me. I needed to move, to think. I ran up back outside hoping I just missed her.
I glanced down at the fire escape where Tori had jumped. "Tori!" I yelled down, hoping she was still in earshot. "She's not here! she's gone!"
I heard her voice, faint but panicked. "What do you mean she's gone?! Andre, where is she?!"
"I don't know! She's not here anymore! " I shouted back, my heart pounding harder with each second.
There was a moment of silence, then Tori's voice came again, more urgent now. "I'm going to get help! I'm going to the police! Just hang on!"
I nodded, even though she couldn't see me, feeling a surge of relief that at least Tori was safe. She would get help. But I wasn't about to wait around. I had to find Jade, now. Every instinct in me was screaming that something was wrong-something bigger than any of us understood.
I bolted back down the stairs, my head snapping from side to side, trying to spot anything that seemed off. The longer I searched, the more desperate I became. "Jade!" I called again, my voice cracking.
I didn't know what to do. I was running on adrenaline, my thoughts a mess. Where the hell could she be?
As I continued to search the hallway my eyes quickly caught something that drew my attention. I kneed down to pick it up.
"Why would she leave it here?"

Tori's pov:
I watched Andre disappear into the building, my heart still racing from the fall. "Gone?" I muttered under my breath. Jade just... vanished? Could she possibly be taken again? But I couldn't focus on that now. Andre was counting on me to get help. I climbed out of the dumpster, wincing as the soreness in my body flared up again. The injuries were catching up to me, but I had to push through it.
