Vaelora

It's been two days since Vaelora had questioned the guard.

She had heard everything, how Rhaenyra's best friend married her father and had a son, how he had usurped the throne when she married her uncle. How they both made mistakes. And that wasn't even close to all of it.

When it was done Vaelora wanted to let the man go but Blackfyre, well, he had other ideas and ate him, despite him helping them.

She had discussed everything with her sister and they had decided on a plan.

They were going to fly to Dragonstone and talk to this queen Rhaenyra.

The queen needed new dragon riders and it just so happened there were 5 of them here. Vaelora would demand a couple of things in return of course but those were matters for later.

They would leave in a day or two, first they needed to pack and do some final preparations.

From what the guard told her it seemed to Vaelora and Lyraella that Rhaenyra was the queen to follow, and of course Vaelora also always preferred a queen to rule since women would always be more capable than men.

The kids had been packing up slowly but she reminded them that it was a short flight and they could come back any time.

For her or Lyraella the flight was only forty minutes, to them it might be about an hour because their dragons were smaller.

Vaelora had to spend extra time focussing on training the kids, she even allowed them to fly on Blackfyre once when raiding a village so they could experience the feeling of battle on Dragonback. You never know if they would need it.

Zarion and Draegar were both already very skilled and Zyraena was getting the hang of paralyzation techniques quite well.

Elira and Seraphina on the other hand. Seraphine was a good healer, Lyraella has been teaching her but in the way of combat, she knows nothing, though she is only 4. Elira on the other hand, could pin the wing of a fly 50 yards away with a bow and arrow but in close range she was defenseless.

Even though the others are great either yet they at least have their dragons, Elira doesn't.

Vaelora had been trying to teach her some basic self-defense stances but none of them worked with her fragile frame.

While Vaelora has been occupying herself Lyraella has been extremely busy packing and calming Whitefyre.

She was getting restless since she was worried about her eggs. A couple moons ago she laid a clutch of 3 eggs.

Eggs are supposed to be left alone and untouched but now they would have to get transported to Dragonstone, without getting harmed.

Lyraella has tried calming her down many times but it never worked.

Vaelora sighed. It was peaceful at the moment but how long would that last? The kids were training, either on Dragonback or on the ground.

Lyraella was cooking and Vaelora was just taking a breather.

She sat in her usual spot knowing that she probably wouldn't come here again soon. She stared out into the ocean.

"You can go if you want," Lyraella said stirring the soup.

"Huh?" Vaelora looked at her sister confused.

"Come on sis, I know you want to go for a flight. Go. I'm fine here." Lyraella smiled at her.
