The sun rose slowly over the horizon, casting soft golden light over the streets of Seoul. The early morning calm held a promise of something new, something fresh—just as Jung Yoon and Tae Ah's life felt now. It had been a few months since their return to the living world, and while the memories of the soul world still lingered, the weight of their past lives had started to ease.

This morning was different, though. There was excitement in the air, a feeling of anticipation.

Jung Yoon stood on the balcony of their new apartment, sipping a cup of tea, his eyes taking in the familiar cityscape. It wasn't the same apartment he had grown up in, nor the same Seoul he had once known. After everything they had been through, he and Tae Ah decided to start truly fresh—to find a place that was theirs, without the shadows of the past clinging to the walls.

Tae Ah stepped out onto the balcony, wrapping her arms around Jung Yoon from behind. "Good morning," she whispered, her voice soft with contentment.

Jung Yoon smiled, leaning back into her embrace. "Good morning."

They stood there for a while, wrapped in the quiet peace of the morning. It was a luxury they had both come to appreciate—a simple, quiet moment with no looming threats or ancient curses to worry about. Just the two of them, in the present.

As they moved back inside, their new home felt cozy and warm. They had decorated it together—every piece of furniture, every plant, every painting carefully chosen to reflect who they were now, not who they had been in the past. It was a space filled with light and life, a far cry from the dark, cursed places they had once inhabited.

Tae Ah sat down at the kitchen table, her fingers tracing the edge of a notebook filled with plans for the future. "We should finish planning the trip soon," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Jung Yoon sat across from her, looking at the pages she had filled with notes and ideas. "The trip," he repeated, smiling. "I can't believe it's actually happening."

After returning to the living world, they had decided that before they settled into any kind of routine, they needed to explore the world—both this one and others. They had spent so much time fighting for their future that now, they wanted to experience it fully. Traveling, seeing new places, meeting new people—it was a way to embrace life after so many years of being entangled with death and the supernatural.

Tae Ah flipped through the notebook, pointing out destinations—Jeju Island, Kyoto, and even some places beyond the boundaries of the physical world, where mythical creatures and spirits roamed freely. "I think we owe it to ourselves to see it all," she said with a grin. "There's so much more to this world than we ever knew."

Jung Yoon nodded in agreement. "We've seen the soul world. We've met creatures I never imagined existed. There's no reason to stop now. It's time to explore life, not just survive it."

They spent the rest of the morning finalizing their plans, laughing and teasing each other about the places they were most excited to visit. It felt surreal—this freedom to plan for the future without fear hanging over them. There were no curses to break, no vengeful spirits to face. Just the open road ahead.

Later that afternoon, Minho came by. He had been a constant presence in their lives, not just as a friend but as a guardian of sorts, given his lineage as a descendant of the Jeoseung Saja. He grinned as he walked through the door, holding up a box. "I brought a little something to celebrate."

Tae Ah raised an eyebrow playfully. "What are we celebrating this time?"

Minho chuckled, setting the box down on the table. "Your freedom, of course. And the fact that you two are starting a new adventure." He opened the box, revealing traditional Korean sweets and a bottle of soju. "I figured we could toast to new beginnings."

Jung Yoon smiled, feeling the warmth of Minho's friendship. "You're always ready with a toast, aren't you?"

Minho shrugged. "Someone's gotta keep things festive around here."

They spent the evening reminiscing about their journey, but it was different now. The past no longer felt like a heavy burden—it was simply a story, one that they had lived and survived. As they ate, drank, and laughed together, there was a sense of closure that had been missing before.

At one point, Minho raised his glass, his expression more serious for a moment. "To Tae Ah and Jung Yoon," he said, his voice steady. "For facing what most people can't even imagine and coming out stronger for it. Here's to your new beginning—and may it be filled with all the peace, love, and adventure you deserve."

Tae Ah smiled, her eyes misting over slightly. "Thank you, Minho. For everything."

Jung Yoon clinked his glass against Minho's. "We wouldn't have made it without you."

Minho grinned, returning to his usual lighthearted self. "Yeah, well, you still owe me for all the near-death experiences I had to endure with you."

As the evening drew to a close, Minho left with a wave, promising to join them on one of their future adventures.

When it was just the two of them again, Jung Yoon and Tae Ah stood together by the window, looking out over the city lights. The future stretched before them—open, unwritten, and full of possibilities.

"I never thought we'd get here," Tae Ah said softly. "A place where we can just live."

Jung Yoon wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close. "Neither did I. But here we are. And we've earned every bit of it."

Tae Ah looked up at him, her eyes full of love. "What do you think our next adventure will be?"

Jung Yoon smiled, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "Whatever it is, we'll face it together."

And with that, they stood in the quiet of their new home, looking forward to the life that awaited them—a life free from curses, full of love, and brimming with new beginnings.

Together, they would build their future, one step at a time, knowing that no matter what came next, they had already conquered the hardest trials. Now, it was time to live—truly live—without fear, with hearts open to all the wonders the world had to offer.

The end of one journey was the beginning of another, and they were ready to embrace it with open arms.
