It had been a couple of days after the pool incident, and my mind had finally let go of the dream.
Nidal was just some annoying boy. Annoying teenage boy. I certainly do not like him in any way. It's just hormones.
"Hey princess, what're you up to?" Nidal questioned, leaning against the doorframe.
I looked up.
"Nidal, it's eleven. I'm trying to sleep." I replied.
He raised a brow.
"Is that so?"
I just nodded, pushing myself up into a sitting position.
"We could watch a movie?" He spoke, walking into the room.
"Or you could let me sleep." I snapped.
"But I'm bored!" He protested.
"Does it look like I care?"
"You should."
"Well, I don't."
"Why do you have to be so, so -" He trailed off.
"So what?"
"So angry."
I laughed.
"Because you never leave me alone."
He shrugged, sitting beside me.
"Fair enough."
"Oh, so you agree?"
"Let's not push the limit, princess."
"I have a name."
"I prefer princess."
I rolled my eyes. He shuffled closer, a hand slowly reaching out, holding onto my thigh.
"What are you doing?" I asked, my breath hitched.
He smirked.
"You are blushing so hard."
"Shut up." I muttered, pushing him off me.
His hand immediately grabbed my chin, forcing me to look up at him.
"What?" I questioned startled by his sudden movement.
"I, I, I don't know." He muttered, pulling away.
This goddamn boy.
