The Next Morning...

Bey Pov

"Miss. Beyonce you're not supposed to crack the egg like that!" Azari said taking the egg from me. She cracked it and put it in the bowl and I was genuinely confused on how she did that.

Like I promised, we are making unicorn pancakes while Megan is still sleeping. Luckily she didn't wake up before I turned off her alarm. She needs rest and I'm gonna make sure she gets it so I silenced her alarm before she could hear it and get up.

She's still dead asleep so hopefully me and Zari can save her some pancakes.

Hopefully we don't burn the house down in the process.

I let Azari mix up the ingredients while I carefully heated up the pan. When I turned back around Azari had perfectly mixed it together.

"Wow princess you did great!" She really did. Better than I could ever mix it.

Now it's time to try and cook.

"Alright, princess let's try and make some pancakes." I said nervously.

"Ok!" She said excitedly.

I moved the bowl over near the stove and picked up Azari from the island and near the stove but far enough so she wouldn't get burned.

I put the unicorn cookie cutter on the pan and scooped a cup a pancake mix and poured it inside the cutter.

Shockingly, it didn't start burning but I was very nervous to be cooking this in general.

I let it sit for a little before getting ready to flip it. I removed the cutter and quickly flipped it and shockingly it wasn't burnt or anything.

"A unicorn!" Azari shouted.

"I see baby." I continued to cook the pancakes of course I let Azari do some as well.

Once we finished the house was still in tact.

Thank god.

I made Azari a plate and of course she started scarfing down her food. I made Megan's plate and put it in the microwave because I want her to get the most amount of sleep that she can.

I ate a little bit as well, which consisted of Azari feeding me off my plate. "Thank you, Zari" I said, pecking her forehead.

"You're the best Miss. Beyonce." Azari said randomly, giving me a hug.

I looked down and smiled at her statement "Thank you, Princess." I said returning her hug. I'm so glad I can make Azari feel comfortable around me. I picked her up and spun her around and she giggled loudly.

"You can go play, while I clean up." I said, letting her down.

I cleaned everything we used while Azari watched Doc McStuffins. Once I finished cleaning I played with Azari for a little bit before finally going to check on Megan.

She's been asleep for a while now.

I walked upstairs and peeked inside the door. She's was still laid out on the bed with her hair all over her face. I quietly walked into the bedroom and approached the bed.

I would love to let her sleep some more but she needs to eat, then I will cater to her and Azari the whole day because I know yesterday was hard.

I gently rubbed on her back, trying to wake her. "Wake up for me pretty girl.." I said softly.

She didn't move one bit and I chuckled lowly. This time I lightly tapped her back and she stirred in her sleep "cmon mama, wake up for me." I said again in a gentle tone.

Damn she sure is a deep sleeper.
