Central Star.

This planet resides within the Allenberg Star System, a stellar system located in the Galactic Sector. It has a diameter approximately 1.4 times that of Earth, with a vast outer layer of rock and a molten core of seething lava, orbiting the Allenberg Star. Every time it completes one orbit, it rotates on its axis 428 times, making each year here 428 days long, with each day lasting 83 minutes longer than those on Earth.

Upon its discovery, the New Federation government spent over a century transforming this planet into a habitable world, and in the Earth Year 5142, it was established as the capital of the New Federation.

By 6457, the Federation moved its capital to Sanctuary Star, and Central Star became the secondary capital. Although it was no longer the heart of human civilization, much of its former splendor remained, surviving to the present day.

Phoenix City, Greenson District, Central Star.

Standing at the gates of the academy, Johnny Reynolds gazed at the ancient buildings with curiosity, awe, and a touch of reverence. In the midst of futuristic technological structures, these aged edifices stood like a stubborn elder, guarding their territory.

This was the Alpha Military Academy, with a history of over 800 years on Central Star. In that time, it had produced more than three million elite graduates for the Federation, over 40% of whom went on to become high-ranking officers, including 20,000 generals, 600 marshals, 28 chiefs of military staff, and two Federation presidents.

It was this legacy of brilliance that earned it the reputation of being the finest military academy in the New Federation, with over one hundred million young hopefuls applying each year. Yet Alpha Military Academy only accepted 12,000 cadets.

One could say that before setting foot on the battlefield, each cadet had already survived a war—a war fought and won against millions of others.

As one of the victorious 12,000, Reynolds had finally arrived. Looking at the academy's ancient gates, a faint smile appeared on his youthful face.

Patting the B35 self-operating robot at his side, Reynolds walked toward the gate, with the small robot obediently following behind.

A guard stopped him. "Freshmen must present their admission papers."

Reynolds handed over the papers. "Could you tell me how to get to the Ship Division?"

"Go straight, then take the left path at the fork." The guard returned the papers. "You may enter, but robots aren't allowed. According to academy regulations, cadets are not permitted to use any domestic robots during their time here. All problems must be solved independently."

"Alright." Reynolds took his bag from the robot, handing it over to the guard. "This was a gift from when I was three years old. It's been with me for fifteen years, so please take good care of it..."

Bang!

The guard expertly removed the B35's drive mechanism and tossed it aside, where Reynolds noticed a small mountain of discarded robots had already formed.

Swallowing hard, Reynolds muttered, "Well, goodbye, my friend."

With his bag slung over his shoulder, he stepped through the gates of the academy and strolled along the tree-lined avenue.

The campus was quiet. No flying cars buzzed overhead, only cadets dressed in uniform, without rank insignias, walking along the paths.

This was a rare sight outside. The Alpha Academy seemed like an ancient and secluded world, revealing its mysteries to Reynolds in its own unique way.
