For those who post about being mature about things do you really know the true meaning of being mature? Most likely not cuz if you're mature then you wouldn't have to post about it. I think they post it to cover up the fact they aren't really all that mature at all.

So take a moment to read the following quote and ask yourself if you're truly matured or not:

Maturity is learning how to walk away from certain people and/or certain situations that might threaten your peace of mind, your self-respect, values, morels or self worth.

I can understand staying with people who are bad for your overall health because we don't want to be alone. But sometimes, we just have to be mature and do what's for us. Like, it doesn't do us any good if we continue talking with someone who disrespects us cuz all it does it tears down our mental and emotionally well-being and gives that person the satisfaction that they can get under our skin. Like, if a person keeps talking trash about us then the moment we cut ties from that person that's when we can have peace of mind. We all of values that want to be respected but if someone doesn't respect our values we all do have the right to leave that person cuz if it happens once and you guys make up and they say they are going to change but then never really end up changing. Then it's a sign it's time to leave that person.

I get that we all what to be mature but you have to realize it's a lot more about taking responsibility for your words and actions. So before you post things about everyone needs to be mature and blah blah I suggest you look up what it means to be mature and see if you yourself is being mature.
