Suoh and Erii had arrived that the Forest of Wisdom without issue. He walks up the hill quietly to avoid the guard that's stationed under the wisteria tree, but to his surprise, she wasn't there. This was already suspicious. Did she have the day off?

"Hm. Perfect timing." Erii says with a smirk.

"Yeah. But it's also quite suspicious..." Suoh would mutter. He was now having second thoughts about this operation. What if Damien WAS expecting him? They would just be walking into a trap. They would soon hear someone approaching from the other side of the hill, so they lay low and listen.

"Lady Wisteria." It was Kaiden's voice. "Hmm... Strange. Where did she go?" Kaiden wondered, and started approaching Suoh's spot on the hill.

With some quick thinking, Erii used some of Glitch's power to no-clip them both through the hill, then back to the other side, so they had gotten around Kaiden. "Hmm... It seems Wisteria just distracted by something..." Suoh uses context clues to piece together what just happened.

"Well, we weren't going to just turn around, right? Even if someone was there." Erii shrugs.

"No, if the guard was there, we leave without being noticed. You have no idea what that girl is capable of." Suoh warns his partner in crime.

"Fine, fine." Erii rolls her eyes and flutters ahead. "C'mon. We need to get that save data." She urges him on, as the young man follows behind her.

Behind the pair of enemies, Kaiden returns to the hill and watches them enter deeper into the forest. "In position..." He says quietly, holding his hand up to his ear.

"When can we start the hunt?" A short woman in an oni mask would ask, sword in hand.

"Once they're separated." Kaiden replied, hand on his sword hilt as well.

Suoh and Erii trek through the thick forest, being careful not to attract attention to themselves. Damien can hear and see everything that goes on in the Forest of Wisdom. Although they didn't need to worry about Damien, they didn't know if the new god here had access to the same information gathering as he did. Just as they were in the further perimeter of the Temple, however, an alarm would sound. Both would look around, as Suoh looks up at a rising light. He immediately recognized what it was. As the light rose, it would shoot off four lasers, creating a pyramid like structure. As these lasers approached, they pass right through Suoh, but start pushing Erii out.

"Ow?! What the—?! Suoh!!" Erii calls out to her partner, but she couldn't pass the barrier that seemed to be forming.

"Lady Erii!" He calls back, rushing back to try and help her. But the pyramid soon completes itself, as a blue light stopped him from exiting. "Dammit...!!" He growls.

On the other side of the wall of light, Erii would try her best to no-clip through it, but it didn't work. "Suoh?! Can you hear me?!" She shouts. She puts her ear up to the wall of the pyramid, but hears nothing from behind it. It was likely Suoh couldn't hear her either. She sighs, and slumps her shoulders. "Great. We got got. AGAIN!! Ugh!! This God of Wisdom is really pissing me off!" She stomps her little foot on the air below her. As she does, she would hear a twig snap in the forest behind her. This made her stiffen up. She turns her head to try and see what made that sound, but sees nothing. She focuses her eyes, and could see horns sticking out of the bushes. The hunter had just become the hunted.

Back behind the barrier, Suoh would push on, as Ava watches everything from a tree leave camera. "Plan successfully. Now we don't have to worry about that fairy sneaking in and stealing my data as well." She leans back comfortably in her chair. "Hm... Who knew that idea would come in handy..." She mutters to herself.

Flashback

"A god repelling barrier?" Ava asked, listening to her assistant's request.

"Yes." Suoh replies. "Lord Damien is always prepared when it comes to the other gods and their Corruptions, but launching his countermeasures could take time. I propose we create a barrier that will push and block out any other divine powers, excluding only the God of Wisdom. That way, we can prepare in peace for when Lord Damien is ready." He explained his idea, as Ava put her hand over her chin.

"Ya know, it's not a bad idea. Very well then. I'll help out in the creation of this project of yours." She agrees.

"Thank you, Lady Ava!"

End of Flashback

"I never thought your idea would be used like this...Suoh." She mutters to herself as the young man walks into the main temple area, looking up at Ava's main control platform. She stands up, as the platform starts to lower itself to Suoh's level. She steps off, and it rises again, so he could access any important information. A second metal platform takes its place behind her, creating a nine by nine grid for them to stand on. "The Anti-Divine Barrier. Codename: Pyramid of Light. It really was a great idea, Suoh." She says with a teasing smile.

"I figured you were the one Damien gave his powers to." He narrows his eyes. "Once I defeat you, I'm taking that power for myself." He says, his arm creating some sort of exoskeleton with some seriously sharp claws around it. The exoskeleton was insect like in nature, looking almost like a beetle leg. His other arm did the same, as they sprout shimming dragonfly like wings up to his elbows.

"Dracoshift... No, this is more natural than it is magical. Suoh... You're part dragon, aren't you?"

"That information isn't important... Because like I said, once I beat you, I'm taking that save data!" His voice distorts slightly, as an echoing roar sounds behind his voice.

Ava stands at the ready, pulling out a small laser gun to fight with. "I'm not really much of a fighter. I don't have cool dragon powers to call on, or have any skills with a sword or any kind of weapon. But..." She grins, trailing off her sentence and looks beyond Suoh.

Suoh senses an attack coming from behind him, as he quickly turns around to block an energy sword strike from MAKI. As he holds her off, Ava takes this opportunity to shoot his back with the laser gun. It seemed he also hardened his back, as the laser should have went right through him, but it didn't. But he did feel the pain of it.

"I DO have a pretty kick ass robot assistant." She finishes her sentence, shooting again. Before the attack makes contact, however, it gets blocked, as Suoh forms a pretty gnarly tail as well. Covered in a thick exoskeleton, it gleams blue like one of those chrome beetles, with a light red morning star club at the very end of it, which also had a much larger spike at the very center of said mace.

"If that's how you want to play, then I'll take you both on." Suoh says as golden lights begin to shimmer off of his wings. Ava knew exactly what these were. His "Infinity Eyes", as he calls them. This allows him to be all-seeing. Accepting the challenge, Ava gets her gun ready once again, a smile on her face.

"I've always wanted to say this... En garde!"
