Eddie's POV

I  made my way through the hospital with a patient on the stretcher. I just came from a call about a guy who went into cardiac arrest. I walked past a bunch of rooms to see Buck emerge from one.

I went and wheeled the patient to the doctor and made sure I was all good to leave, then made my way over to where I previously saw Buck.

"Hey Buck what are you doing here?" I questioned him, it's his day off why is he in the hospital.

"Oh hey Eddie, I was at the cafe round the corner and a girl passed out. So now I'm here. Why are you here?"

"I just brought in a patient, mind if I stay with you for a bit. Cap said I can take my break now and why not chill with you." I'm gonna be honest, I just didn't feel like getting in the truck again. My back is sore, I think I pulled it putting the patient on the stretcher. I'm getting old.

"For sure, just let me go and get the doctor." Buck then walked away to a desk, I just stood there waiting for his return. He walked back with the doctor and I entered the room after he did.

I don't know what I expected to see but I definitely didn't except that. I thought my eyes were tricking me. I'm more tired than I thought. I brought my hand to my eyes and deeply rubbed them before looking again. It's her.

"Duck?" I didn't believe I would see her ever again after she stormed out of the house all those years ago. I was looking her up and down and seeing how much she's grown into a woman when bruises caught my eye. They ranged from her legs right up to her cheek. My eyes immediately hardened

Her eyes met mine and my eyes softened before I realized. Looking in her eyes felt like we were back to all those years ago when her first boyfriend broke up with her in Grade 10. She had the same look in her eyes. The look of 'I need my brother'.

"Goose?" Left her lips. God I haven't heard that name in years now. My heart warms at the fact she still calls me that even after years of being apart she still remembers.

I could see in Aria's eyes she felt the same. I knew we didn't get along the best as kids but I still wished I could go back to the times when all I had to worry about was making sure no one ate my after school snacks. Oh how the times have changed.

"You guys uh, know each other?" Buck once again showed his clueless side, but he had no way of knowing we are twins.

"Um yeah. He's my twin brother." Aria's voice quietly spoke. This is not the Aria I remember. The old Aria would be heard down the hall rambling about some irrelevant thing, not being soft spoken and quiet. Hell, she even defended me from bullies, I'm supposed to be the one protecting her but I let her get bruised like this.

"Sorry to bud in, I just though I would let you know what caused your episode and check in on you? Would you like to discuss this matter in private?" The doctor politely spoke to Aria, I think even he knows she wasn't fully listening.

But what did the doctor mean when he said 'episode'? Evan looked at me still trying to wrap his head around the fact I have a twin sister. I don't really talk about her because it hurts. Whenever I talk about her it feels like she just slammed the door in my face again.

"Huh, oh yeah it's fine. But what do you mean by episode?" Aria asked the question I'm sure all of us were thinking.

She was very obviously not totally in it. She was constantly zoning out and giving short replies. I really can not understand what would make her act like this?

"Oh, you must not remember. Well you had a seizure on your way to the hospital after you passed out in the cafe." I looked at Aria, her face was pale and she looked like she hadn't slept in weeks.
