TW: Miscarriage mentioned, domestic violence mentioned.

"Duck?" Eddie walked in the room, confused but excited at the same time. But the moment he saw her tears and bruised cheek, bruised arms and legs his expression changed, from a happy one to a protective big brother one.

"Goose?" Aria questioned. Her head immediately propping up at the sound of the familiar voice.

Her heart skipped a beat when she realised it was Eddie. Her big brother, which she hasn't spoken to in 7 years. A wave of guilt but joy both washed over Aria.

"You guys know each other?" Buck interrupted Aria's deep thoughts.

"Um yeah. He's my twin brother." Aria says guilt laced on her voice.

"Sorry to bud in, I just thought I would let you know what caused your episode and check in on you? Would you like to discuss this matter in private?" The doctor politely spoke to zoned out Aria.

"Huh, oh yeah. It's fine. But what do you mean by episode?" Aria asked, confusion filled her body.

"Oh, you must not remember. Well you had a seizure on your way to the hospital after you passed out in the cafe."

"What, I don't have seizures though?" Arias face dropped at the mention of seizures.

"That's what happened. Your body into shock because of the amount of blood you lost due to your miscarriage. May I ask, why didn't you come straight to hospital?" The doctor asked intrigued.

Aria's eyes filled with tears, as she bows her head down in her hands. She couldn't look anyone in the eyes knowing she caused this. She should have just stayed, then she would have a had a beautiful baby one day.

"I didn't think I needed too. It stopped bleeding last night?" Aria cluelessly replied, tears falling down her face. She refused to look over at her brother as she knew his reaction would not be a pleasant one.

"You're lucky you got to the hospital when you did, if you came an hour later we probably would have had a different outcome this afternoon. There is also something I want to speak to you about, in private." The doctor mentioned staring Eddie and Buck down.

"No problem, Dr Walsh." Aria gave Eddie and Buck 'the look' signalling for them to leave her alone with the doctor.

They both looked at each other and quickly left the room giving Aria privacy. Aria played with her fingers, scared of what the doctor was yet to say.

"Aria, are you safe at home? We saw the bruising over your body and the trauma that occurred to the stomach which resulted in the miscarriage."

"Um, yeah I, uh just left him, he caught me before I left. What did I get in return? A beating." Tears once again began to fall from her eyes. "Don't worry the ones who were in here didn't do anything, I promise."

"Are you going to file a report with the Police or should we?" She felt the already enormous anxiety increase. Going through a whole lawsuit will break her and she knows it.

"Is it possible for me to just file a restraining order? I can't go through the whole lawsuit process." Arias anxiety mellowed as he told her it was a possibility.

Her eyes began to grow heavy once again. She heard the door close but then open. Eddie and Buck walked in. Eddie and Aria immediately locked eyes. The moment he saw his baby sister crying he didn't hesitate to bring her into his arms.

"I'll give you guys some privacy." Buck smiled and left the room.

"I'm so sorry goose, I am a horrible person." Aria cried into her brother's shirt as he held her against his chest.

"Shhh, it's ok Aria. You are not a horrible person, you hear me?" Eddie whispered as he kissed her head.

She felt her eye lids go heavy. She was mumbling random things to her brother as he held her, not making sense. He gently told her to go to sleep, that he will be here when she wakes up. She gave in to the urge to shut her eyes and let sleep overcome her exhausted body.

"I don't know what to do anymore. She just shows up out of the blue, bruised and bleeding. Not to add in the fact she just had a miscarriage. Mum you need to come to L.A. She need you now more that ever."  Eddie spoke to his mother over the phone as Aria's eyes started to slowly peer open.

As she woke up she heard a muffled voice, which she was guessing was Eddie as he promised to be there when she woke up. He seemed to be angry at the person on the other end of the line.

"Oh my god, you're not coming when one of your daughters is in the hospital. Do you not remember her leaving and shutting the whole family out for 7 years. There is obviously something wrong." Eddie shouted through the phone he felt like he was physically blowing steam through his ears.

He couldn't understand how his mother wouldn't want to come visit her daughter in hospital. No matter what she did in the past she should still love her and feel the need to be there for her when she most needs it.

Once again tears start to silently fall down Aria's bruised cheek. She's in so much mental and physical pain. She just wishes she could crawl up in a ball and just stay that way. Even her own Mother didn't want to come see her, maybe Justin was right?

She didn't realise Buck, the kind man she met at the cafe, was still in the room and saw the scene of Aria crawling into a ball.

"Are you ok?" Buck quietly asked Aria so Eddie wouldn't hear.

"No, I'm obviously not ok? Why would you even ask me that?" Aria snapped back.

"Stupid question, do you want to talk about it? Maybe that would help it feel better?" Buck could tell Aria wasn't going to open up to him but it was worth a shot.

"No, just leave me alone." Aria could barely process what was going on let alone tell another person, who she just met yesterday her whole life story.

Buck accepted her answer, knowing it wasn't his place to push her to open up. Eddie finally got off the phone and saw his sister was awake.

"Good you're awake, uh mum can't come. She's got a family emergency in Texas. I'm so sorry Duck." Eddie tried speaking to an obviously distraught Aria.

Aria just nodded her head. She wished she had listened then she wouldn't be in hospital, and lost her baby. She silently cried to herself, just hoping the pain would stop. Eddie and Buck both looked at each other with a concerned look on their faces.

"I'm gonna go and get some coffee, anyone want anything?" Buck picked up the signal that Eddie wanted to talk to his sister alone.

"Nah, we're all good. Thank you though." Eddie knew something was up with his sister, he wanted her to open up to him. Buck left the room and Aria knew what was coming.

"What happened Aria, you leave 7 years ago. Don't talk to any of the family now you show up bruised and won't say a word about what happened?" Eddie felt the need to protect his sister from what was making her act this way as any brother would.

"You were right." Was all Aria could get out of her mouth as she clutched onto her twin for dear life. She felt if she let go he would disappear. Eddie is racking his brain to find out what he is supposedly right about.

Finally his mind went to the talk before he deployed. His face dropped. He had knew what was wrong now. His eyes went wide, he can't imagine the hell Aria went through with that boy, you can't even call a man. He doesn't deserve to be called a man.

"Did he do that to you?" Eddie asked while pointing at her cheek, arms and legs which were all covered in bruises. He could feel his blood boiling as she stayed silent. He already knew what the answer was.
