I sat in my seat uncomfortably while my assistant worked quickly on my hair. This style had already taken hours and it was getting annoying how often my assistant was adjusting it as the car ride went on. I had just arrived at a music event in California. I was excited, and felt really relieved that i had learned English just in time. It took another twenty five minutes before I was ready to walk out to the music award show. I adjusted my heels around my ankle and took a deep breath before unlocking my door.
My bodyguard Gus opened my door, and in an instant was blinded by flashing lights and people shouting. I knew English fairly well, but with everybody talking and shouting at once i was overwhelmed with confusion.
My body guards walked to the front of my door and helped me out, then hastily led my way into the event. I didn't stop for photos, I wasn't even sure I was meant to. I passed lots of famous American celebrities, most of which I didn't know.
"Hello!! Who am I here with?" A tall blonde women asked, she had a microphone and was dressed amazingly. She wore a long red dress that complimented her very tan complexion.
"I'm Y/n Y/L/N." I said and smiled at the women, I glanced at the camera then back in the women's eyes.
"Are you excited to be here for the award ceremony? I hear this is your first time in the states." The women said and after she spoke she held the microphone out for me to speak into.
"Yes it is my first time; and of course I'm excited. I learned English for months when I was invited." I said with a smile, leaning slightly toward the microphone when i spoke.
"I listened to your song this weekend, you were on the radio how does that feel?" The women asked, I started to feel very out of place. I felt like every other person here had on lock how to act and what to say and knew exactly who they were. You could see the anxiety on my face when I spoke.
"It feels good, yeah I feel like my first song is very fresh. Nobody's ever done anything like that before." I said in a false confident tone.
"I liked keep under your spell . I played that on my way here." The interviewer said, I put my hand to my heart and made a adoration face towards the interviewer.
"Thank you so much." I said with a funky smile. (Song above)
"And your interview with Tokio Hotel in Germany this week are you excited? Are you nervous?" The women asked, I had only heard about this interview a few days ago. I had no clue who Tokio Hotel were.
"I don't know how to feel, I don't know who Tokio Hotel are. I guess I live under a rock." I said and the women laughed almost obnoxiously at my response. I smiled and covered my face, my cheeks turning red.
I removed my hands and made eye contact with the women once again.
"Tokio Hotel are so popular I don't-" the women said and stopped speaking as a group of four men walked by," Speak of the devil. Tokio Hotel." The men stopped as they heard their band name being called.
"Hello hello." A tall boy said in response, he smiled really big. He had long black hair with blonde pieces. His hair was in dreads and he had dark eye makeup. His eyebrow piercing was very noticeable, and he dressed very different than what the other men at the event were wearing. I found herself staring as the two conversed, zoning out during the conversation.
"I was discussing your up coming interview with Y/n Y/l/N here." The women said, the tall boys eyes caught mine and I felt heat flowing to my cheeks.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you so soon." He said, he looked very genuine when he spoke.
"It's nice to meet you too." I said, my eyes darting around to avoid his gaze, he towered over me.
"They taught me some German at the last event." The women said and the boys all began to chuckle as she spoke, they seemed so happy.
