**SMALL TRIGGER WARNING

LOTS OF FLUFF X3

==========================================================================

Andy and I calmly walked out the rusty school gate, swinging it shut behind us.  We were free to go wherever, free to talk, free to...be free.

That was 3 months ago: we had since become best friends, and ditched almost every day to hang out at various locations. He was my everything, what saved me from my demons and everything else out to get me.

Today was no different, in terms of running away. Jason had made some snarky sexual  comment about me eating a banana, and I got up before Andy did this time because I noticed he was awkwardly covering his lap, which made me laugh to myself and save him the embarrassment by slapping Jason across the face and stalling so Andy could...figure himself out, if you know what I mean. I knew the perfect spot to go, this time. "There's a tiny coffee shop downtown. We can grab a coffee and go to the park, if you want to... it's pretty secluded." We hadn't been there before, and I didn't even remember it existed until that morning.

Andy's eyes lit up. "Sure... I'll shout you." I shook my head in response, and he didn't say anything back, so we started to walk. It was fairly easy to get there, just a few blocks to walk and a graveyard to pass, which we explored for a few minutes before heading to the coffee place. We talked about the people at school on the way, how mindless and fake they were and how we'd get revenge some day. His deep voice pierced into my soul, taking pieces with it. He was so... perfect...his eyes, and voice, and his sweetness. It had been on my mind for literally months and had kept my mind in a good position, like he had injected me with a drug. We arrived at the small coffee place, The Orange Button, within ten minutes and went inside. Cinnamon scent filled our nostrils as we entered the tiny cafe and we looked up at the chalkboard with all the possibilities of coffees we could get written in pale blue and green chalk. It was a cosy place, with brown and orange decor and an open fire as well as deer antlers on the wall. Like a hunter's lodge, in the form of a cafe, which was pretty cute.

Andy glanced at me. "What do you want to get?" I shot him a smile. "I'm paying. I don't care what you say, I still owe you for the day you punched Jason." Andy smiled in response but wouldn't have any of it. Before I could argue further, he called a woman arranging some orange tarts over to take our orders. "I'll have a... chocolate mocha please, and a..." He signaled for me to order. "A vanilla swirl, thank you." We both handed a ten dollar note forwards at exactly the same time, resulting in an awkward grin from the woman serving us.  Andy smirked. "I told you, babe, I got this." He gently pushed my hand back and handed his money forwards. Did he just call me babe?! Holy SHIT! My heart gave a huge flutter and I tried not to squeal out loud. I could feel my cheeks flushing again. The crush was real and it was killing me. The woman turned around to glance at a blonde man towards the back of the shop. "Tom! A chocolate mocha and a vanilla swirl for the couple." COUPLE? If my cheeks weren't already beetroot coloured, they were then, and I was positive Andy noticed.

We received our drinks and sipped them as I lead him to the nearby park. It was early afternoon, and the sun was full, so we sat under a tree to take advantage of it's leafy shade. I sipped the sweet vanilla coffee as the sunlight bounced off Andy's jet black hair. "So..." I said, awkwardly as usual. "I bought You Can't Stop Me yesterday. Do you wanna borrow it?"

Andy finished his mouthful of coffee. "Oh yeah, that's my favourite album so far!"

I tried not to squeal. "Exactly the same! I think I'm wearing a Suicide Silence shirt, actually." I giggled and stretched out my t-shirt. "Oh yeah, you are!" Andy giggled but didn't look away, his eyes locked on my chest. Was he looking at my boobs? I tried not to laugh. First the banana situation and now this? Too good to be true, I thought.
