The next day was absolute chaos for Andy and I. He was all good vibes from the night before, and even sleep couldn't stifle his excitement and child-like disbelief. It was really cute, actually, because he kept on sneaking up behind me, hugging me, and excitedly singing parts of different songs that Black Veil Brides were writing in his sexy, low voice. It eventually affected me, too, and we ended up blasting blink-182 and dancing like idiots in the front room until we were both completely out of breath and collapsed together onto the couch, laughing and attempting to regain a steady breathing pace. I loved him, I really did, and he was the only thing that was keeping me alive. School hadn't improved, with Jason and the rest of the assholes giving us the same shit, but we had learned to just ignore it and keep being the creepy emo couple sitting together at the back of the room.
Black Veil Brides was going incredibly well, and the instagram page already had 2k followers and counting, which was pretty good considering the first real performance was only the night before. And later in the day, when Andy and I were cuddling and watching TV, his phone rang, which wasn't unusual but this particular phone call was...different. "Hello?" Andy gave me a slightly confused look, having seen the No Caller ID appear over the background of his phone.
"Andy?" I recognized the voice. It was the dude from the pub; the short stocky one with the glasses.
"Yeah! Hey, dude what's up?" Andy looked slightly excited, and slightly worried.
"Well, I have some...really good news for you guys!" Andy's face immediately lit up, and a wide grin filled his face.
The guy continued. "Well, some people uploaded videos of you guys last night, and Cemetery Records (A/N not a real record label btw) saw one and loved it! They're offering you guys a five year contract! You interested?"
Andy's grin somehow grew even wider, and he literally looked like he was about to explode with excitement and happiness. I couldn't even imagine the emotions he was experiencing at that moment, but I could definitely see it. "HOLY SHIT DUDE! FUCK YES!" He screamed it and I could almost see the guy on the other end on the phone retract a little.
"Alright dude! I'll get them to call you in about an hour and a half, OK?"
"YES!" Andy almost squealed. I had never seen him that happy, let alone SQUEAL something. His face said it all: A HUGE grin, and his beautiful blue eyes were wide and sparkling. "I"LL TELL THE OTHERS! HOLY FUCK MAN, THANK YOU SO MUCH!"
"That's alright dude! Have a nice day!" He hung up and Andy sat there in absolute shock for about ten seconds before freaking out again.
"DESTINY! WE GOT A MOTHERFUCKING RECORD DEAL! OH MY FUCKING GOD I HAVE TO CALL THE OTHERS HOLY SHIT HOL-"
I shook him and he calmed down a little bit. "BREATHE, Andy..."
He inhaled and exhaled several times, and said "Ok. I am calm. Fuck me this is amazing... I need to call the guys and get them over here right now!"
Over the course of the next 15 minutes, Andy called CC, Jinxx, Jake and Ashley and told them to come over immediately. He didn't tell them the news... I assumed he was thinking that he'd tell them once they arrived. They all agreed, and 15 or so minutes later there was a knock at the door. Andy opened it with a huge grin on his face to see Ash, CC, Jinxx, and Jake standing at the door. Jake was the first to notice. "Woah, dude, you never smile like that. What's going on?" Andy just shrugged, still grinning, while copping suspicious eyeballings from the rest of Black Veil Brides. He still didn't tell them, and I decided not to ruin whatever he had in mind.
It was about an hour until the phone call was supposed to come, so we engaged the group in a game of Call Of Duty to pass the time. It was confusing me that Andy hadn't told them yet, so while Ash and CC took on Jinxx and Jake, I pulled him aside. "What's going on? Why haven't you told them?"
Andy smirked. "I'll wait for the phone call. They're smart, they'll figure it out once the company announces who they are." I nodded and we got involved again in COD, sitting there in brutal competition with each other.
Time passed pretty quickly, and before long Andy's familiar ringtone filled the room: American Idiot by Green Day. Andy's face lit up once again, and we gave each other 'the look.' The others sat there, oblivious to the situation. "Hello?" Andy's deep voice almost echoed in the room. We were so excited, but it was a false alarm. Wrong number. We laughed off that we were so excited and got back to shooting zombies. But then...it rang again. Two in a row? Course not.
After Andy's greeting, the man on the end of the line replied with "Hello! This is Paul, from Cemetery Records. Is this Andy Biersack?"
Jinxx, Jake, Ash and CC immediately dropped their controllers and looked at Andy in shock. Andy just smiled back. Ashley cupped his hands to his mouth like an excited little girl and everyone else just sat there in wide eyed shock. "DUDE!" CC exclaimed, grabbing fistfuls of his hair. No-one could believe it. Jinxx and Jake just sat there in silence while Andy organized a meet up at a studio in the next few days to brainstorm ideas for an album. Andy just grinned and looked at each of them, while I sat on the couch, just smiling and giggling about their reactions. After Andy finished the phone call, the room exploded into cries of "DUDE! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!" "WE GOT A RECORD DEAL?" and "HOLY SHIT!" Andy just laughed.
"We're going to the studio on Saturday. We have a five year contract! We get to start producing our first album." Everyone started cheering again, and the rest of the day was spent writing songs, eating pizza, playing COD and talking. We were all up to three am that night, talking about everything, really.
Everything was...perfect.========================================================================
