I awoke next to Andy the next day, nestled in between his skinny arms. "Andy..." I nudged him. He groaned and opened his eyes, looking at me. "It's 11:30." He yawned and sat up.  I smoothed down my hair, and Andy giggled, knowing that my hair never cooperated when I slept. "What do you wanna do? We have half a day..."

"Well, babe," Andy smiled, "today I'm going to introduce you to my band. It's about time, really, I mean, it's been months since I told you they existed." I grinned. We had done a phone call twice or so, but I'd never actually met them.

"That sounds great!  They seemed like really cool guys! ll go get dressed." I jumped out of the huge black bed, showered and put on some skinny jeans and a Green Day t shirt. I came out and Andy was already ready, wearing denim pants and a leather vest. His hair, which had grown a fair bit since I had first met him, was wavy and messy and honestly HOT. Then I noticed him hunching towards the bedroom mirror, black eyeliner in hand. Before I could say anything in surprise at seeing Andy apply makeup, he turned around. He had done it perfectly, creating spiky shapes around his eyes, as well as half a Chelsea grin. He looked gorgeous! "Andy!" He grinned.

"What do you think?"

"You look amazing!" He blushed.

"Well, surprise princess! We got a gig at a pub near Jake's house...this is our...image, I guess."

"Andy! That's AMAZING! I love you babe! I told you they'd notice how good you are...holy SHIT!" I hugged him, taking care not to touch his face, knowing the woes of makeup.

He hugged back for a few seconds. "Let's go, babe! Gig starts in an hour."

We got in his car (he could drive, and had a gorgeous matte black Mercedes. A present from his uncle, I found out, who was apparently thrilled about Andy starting a rock band) and drove to the pub that Black Veil Brides was playing at. On the way, we jammed to The Drug In Me Is You by Falling In Reverse, and got some crazy stares from the people in cars around us, which made us laugh like maniacs and continue belting out along with Ronnie's vocals accompanying us.

Andy pulled up to the venue, which was HUGE, by the way, and we entered through the back door, into a room down the back. We opened the door and were greeted by the  4 other ridiculously attractive members of Black Veil Brides sorting through piles of eyeliners. Andy grinned. "Hey guys!" They replied with a loud "AAAAY ANDY!" and then an "AAAAY DESTINY!" Andy gave me a reassuring smile. "See, they even remember your name!" Much to my surprise, I remembered theirs, too, although I had a terrible memory, and greeted each one. There was Jinxx, who was then applying a paling agent to his face, Jake, who was drawing around his eyes with thick black eye pencil, Ashley, who had done his makeup and was then spraying his hair with solution from a large orange spray bottle and CC, who was having immense trouble getting his lipstick to sit correctly. I cracked a smile, it was hard not to, and walked over to CC.

"Do you want some help with that?" CC gave me a grateful nod, and I applied it for him while Ashley laughed at CC for not being able to apply the simplest part of the makeup himself.

"Thanks, Destiny!" CC gave an awkward laugh and sat down on a couch at the back of the room. A stocky man wearing glasses opened the door.

"You're on in five minutes, guys! And girl, you should probably go into the pub bit now." I nodded my head. Andy hugged me from behind. "I'm so nervous..."

"Andy, you guys will do AMAZING. I know you will." He gave me a cute grin again and showed me his crossed fingers.

I exited the room and joined the rest of the soon to be audience in the main dining area. There were a lot more people there than I had anticipated, around 70 or 80. The place was certainly bigger than it appeared from the back. They looked like the kind of crowd to enjoy rock music... it was mostly scene kids like myself and a few middle aged people here and there.  Some pub that was...more like a club where you eat. A pub wasn't the place where scene kids gathered, although there wasn't much in the neighborhood where we were. I saw a few broad, tattooed guys set up the amps and instruments on a small stage at the front, while people all around were eating, gossiping, just generally having a great time. The lights dimmed a small enough amount to only just be noticeable, and the guy with the glasses from before stood in the middle of the stage, speaking into the microphone. "Ok...people! Our act tonight is a new rock band, from about an hour away. Please welcome...BLACK VEIL BRIDES!" There was a wave of applause from the crowd. The five guys came out from backstage and picked up their instruments, Andy at the microphone. I heard a few whispers in the crowd. Mostly "Wow...they're gorgeous!" and "Dude, they look awesome!", and I heard a middle aged man murmur "They look kinda like a new age Kiss. Ha, I'll give these guys a shot."  Not gonna lie, they definitely looked like Fallen Angels. Andy smiled, obviously have had overheard some of the things being said in the crowd, and happy about leaving a good first impression.

"Hey guys! Uh... we're Black Veil Brides!" There was more cheering. "I'm Andy, that's Ash, that's CC on drums, that's Jinxx, that's Jake, and this is Sweet Blasphemy!" I heard the familiar guitar riff and felt a tang of pride in my chest. That was my favourite song they had made so far... it was so catchy and just connected with the feelings I had when I first met Andy. I heard Andy start to sing the familiar lyrics;

'Through sadness you have taught us to be one with the crowd, unveil the sacred order, hymns of falling down' and I joined the smiling faces in the crowd. They were obviously enjoying it. I was so proud of Andy, my favourite person in the world, getting up there and no doubt impressing everyone in the room. They finished the song and there was a huge round of applause and cheering, even from the small group of middle aged women sitting at the back. They were amazing... CC's drumming, Jinxx, Ashley and Jake's guitar skills, and Andy's vocals together sounded even more incredible. They then played two other songs: Knives and Pens (of course), and We Stitch These Wounds. They were incredible, and made everyone go wild, which was not a surprise. People even came up to them after and asked if they had an album out, and Jinxx ended up making a mailing list so people could get emailed if they decided to make an album. Andy couldn't believe it and I had to lightly punch his arm repetitively, which made the rest of the band laugh and join in while Andy just stood there with his adrenaline shock.

That night Andy couldn't sleep and I had to cuddle him for four hours until he dozed off, which was adorable. He had started his career as a musician. For real. And that was fucking amazing.
