What to do Now

As Amber and Lily walk to the check out station, Amber continues to feel her hair.

=========Ambers POV =========

Why is it deciding to grow now? It hasn't been growing. Why now? (Yanks hair) Why can't I comprehend all if this?

Lily:"Are you okay Amber?"

Lily looks at me with loving and worried eyes. She seems to care a lot for me. It feels good to know that someone loves you.

Lily:"You seem so spaced out."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you. I'm doing fine." Lily starts to rub my shoulder.

Lily: Don't be so afraid. I'm right here with you. (ruffles my new long hair) Look, we're here. I'll get you checked out, and we can get out of here. Sounds good?

"Yeah, sounds good. I'll be waiting right here at the park swings

outside."

Lily just nods her head. I can't believe it. No stopping me, no "Wait here." I love her so much. She is awesome.

============Later=============

Lily begins walking towards me from the orphanage. She seems very happy because her smile was like a river. So long you can't even see where it ends. I continue swinging on the swing until Lily came up to me and stopped the swing.

Lily: We're all set. Do you have you things? I live in downtown Tokyo so it might be a long ride.

I nod my head and grab me backpack. She led us to a bus station, and we waited there until the bus came. She held my hand and kept squeezing it.

"(Straining) You're squeezing me hand too tight. Can you please release a little." I rapidly tap her shoulder until I got her attention.

Lily: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just happy I get to have a little sister for the first time.

She smiles at me. I can't believe she never had a little sister before. "Thank you. "

Lily: Hey what's you full name?

She wants to know my full. No one has ever asked me for my full name. "Well, it's......
