"hi. I'm Chucky! Wanna play?"

Dr. Foley wheeled Nica into a small waiting area where he began to explain to her that he had a visitor requesting her presence. He had instructed the new nurse to wait with the patient while he retrieved the guest. It was quite strange for the (h/c) haired woman to face her former friend after she remembered little to nothing for the way it really happened. She believed that she was responsible for the murders of her family and that the doll was all in her head.

(Y/n) could vouch for her and say that without a doubt, that ginger fucker is very real. He'd been haunting her life long enough now.

"Nica, this is Ms. Valentine" Dr. Foley's words made (Y/n) snap her head up to see the hauntingly familiar blonde sauntering into the room with black heels clacking. She had on a black dress with a red overcoat and her blonde hair pinned back into a small ponytail at the back of her head. "She's your niece's legal guardian" The man added.

Tiffany smiled softly, her eyes cutting over to (Y/n)'s as she really attempted to hold eye contact. The (h/c) haired woman really felt hatred boiling over inside of her at the blonde because she was going to try to stop her from saving Nica. Why did she care about Chucky having a human body again all of a sudden? She seemed so against it before.

"You're Alice's guardian?" Nica asked with a barely contained frown, her voice wavering on depressive. The little girl's whereabouts were unknown but it really should have been obvious to (Y/n) that she'd end up with the blonde. It was all a form of control.

"That's right" Tiffany smiled as she settled herself down in the visitor's chair across from her. One glance up towards (Y/n) sent the other woman standing stiffly. "And what was it? Courtney? What a lovely name but it doesn't really suit you" She added with a small wink.

(Y/n) felt her eye twitch but she remained calm. "I'd take that up to my mother, Ms. Valentine" She quipped back, feeling satisfied when the blonde's face nearly fell.

"I'm sorry, but you seem really familiar" Nica cut into their small conversation, her eyes lidded in confusion as she studied the professional looking blonde before her. "Did anyone ever tell you, you look exactly like Jennifer Tilly?" She asked. The irony of it all made (Y/n) want to laugh humorlessly.

Tiffany laughed. "Yeah, I get that a lot. You're not quite what I expected either" She replied.

Nica tilted her head. "What did you expect?" She asked curiously.

Tiffany beamed. "Somebody taller. You don't seem very dangerous" She said this almost challengingly, her red lips quirked up into a soft smirk.

(Y/n) glared before she bent down and looked the blonde over. "You don't seem very motherly" She defended, smiling smugly enough for the blonde to catch it. Tiffany clenched her fist lightly but the fact that it got to her even a little bit was very satisfying.

Nica leaned forwards. "How is she?" She asked fondly as she remembered her niece.

Tiffany hummed. "She's dead, Miss Pierce." She ripped the unpleasant bandaid right off and didn't seem too upset that this happened.

"What?" Nica whispered with heartbreak lacing her tone, tears just shy of welling up. (Y/n) placed a comforting hand onto her shoulder.

Dr. Foley frowned. "Ms. Valentine, I wish you'd told me" He said to her.

Tiffany mocked sadness. "Oh, didn't I? Uh, I'm terribly sorry! I've just been going through an awful ordeal. But she's in a better place now, I know it" She nodded her head.

"What happened?" Nica questioned as she stared at the blonde, a stage of grief welcoming her.

Tiffany shrugged. "I'm no doctor, Miss Pierce, but I think it was a broken heart. She wanted you to have something" Reaching down, she pulled a familiar looking good guy doll out and placed it onto her lap. (Y/n) stared daggers at both of them but the ginger doll only blinked its crystalline eyes, staring up in a fake robotic gaze.

"Hi! I'm Chucky. Wanna play?" The doll's childlike voice spat out happily.

Nica seemed to jump back. "That's not the same...?" She trailed off as she gazed in slight fear.

Tiffany shook her head. "No, no. This is the doll they used in Alice's therapy. To help her get over the past" The blonde smiled. "She thought maybe it would help you too" She nodded sadly before handing the doll over to the other woman and standing.

"Well, thank you so much" Nica said politely before she was being wheeled back to her room by Dr. Foley, the doll watching Tiffany and (Y/n)'s every move as it left with her.

"Well I must be going, sweetface. Got lots of paperwork" Tiffany said as she bent down to grab her purse. She wasn't ready for (Y/n) to be glaring so heatedly at her. "This the best wig you could find? It's tacky and so not your color, you know" She smiled.

(Y/n) scoffed. "What the fuck is wrong with you? You killed Alice?" She whispered angrily, watching the blonde hold up a hand.

"Oh please, it was a broken heart. Can't exactly control that outcome, can I?" Tiffany grinned. "Don't stress because it's not a cute look for you. You really need to try and stay out of Chucky's way....I'd hate for you to take any more damages" She said before she was leaning in to press her lips against the other woman's cheek. "Take care, baby cakes" She waved and parted ways down the visiting hallways.

(Y/n) huffed. Like fucking hell she'd be staying out of Chucky's way. She's not afraid of him.

Not one bit.
