So hello everyone here is the chapter 2 of this fanfiction i hope you all will likes it
The early morning sun bathed the streets of Konoha in a warm golden light. The village was already alive with activity-merchants setting up their stands, shinobi heading off on missions, and children running around with laughter echoing through the air. Naruto Uzumaki sprinted through the crowded streets, weaving through people with a burst of excitement in his chest.
Naruto [Age of 12]
Today was the day. The day he would become a Genin.
A wide, toothy grin stretched across his face as he rushed forward, barely avoiding bumping into vendors and shoppers.
Naruto: "Outta the way! Make room for the future Hokage!"
[he shouted proudly, laughing to himself as he imagined the villagers cheering for him one day, just as they did for the Hokage]
But as Naruto pushed deeper into the streets, that hopeful smile slowly started to fade. He felt it-the familiar stares. Cold, harsh, piercing eyes followed him as he passed, cutting through his joy like a kunai.
A middle-aged woman selling vegetables stiffened when Naruto ran by, her gaze narrowing, lips pressed into a thin line of disapproval. An older man standing by the blacksmith shop stopped mid-conversation to watch him pass, his eyes filled with the same distrust they always held for the boy. Even the children who had been laughing a moment ago fell silent, whispering to each other, their faces shifting from curiosity to fear as Naruto ran by.
Naruto's pace slowed. The weight of their stares pressed down on him like an invisible hand, tugging at his feet, draining the energy from his legs. His breathing, once steady and excited, became shallow as his thoughts darkened.
"What's he doing here?"
"Can't believe they let him become a ninja..."
"Isn't that the demon kid?"
The whispers, though soft, felt louder with every step. Naruto could hear them, just as he always had. He tried to ignore them-tried to keep running forward -but each glance, each sneer, each hushed murmur of suspicion and hatred slowed him down. His once confident stride became hesitant, his head dipping lower as he passed through the familiar streets he had walked his whole life.
Naruto: [ Thought bitterly] Maybe this was a mistake.
His hand clenched into a fist by his side. He had worked so hard to pass the exams, but even on this day, when he should be proud of himself, the village still saw him the same way-as an outcast, a nuisance, something to be feared
He couldn't help but look around, searching the crowd for even a single friendly face. But everywhere he turned, there was only the same judgmental expression. The shadows of the past clung to him, no matter how fast he ran.
