"Bahu, tum yaha dekho main ayi" Mummy ji said, leaving me alone in the kitchen. I looked at the chai, which was boiling on the oven. Beside me there were many maids, working here and there in the kitchen.
In the morning I did woke up with severe pain in my womanhood, but I couldn't lie there all day. It was 8:00 am now, the first morning as a fully married woman in my laws. After waking up I found devansh ji still sleeping. My breath hitched seeing him again after last night. I felt myself sweating in nervousness whenever I looked at him.
He was sleeping so peacefully I didn't want to wake him up. So I got showered and came into the kitchen. Today I was supposed to make the tea, so I was here preparing for it.
After making chai, I poured it into separate cups and placed it on a tray.
The maid took the tray to give the chai to other family members as I still don't know, who drinks which chai. I walked in the living room and saw the maid trying to hand chai to Reyaansh but he was in a hurry.
"Mujhe nahi chahiye! main ata hu thodi der me.." he said while wearing his watch. He walked towards the front door when I stopped him.
(I don't want it... I will be back soon.)
"Where are you going?" I asked curiously. It was 8 am and most of the family members were asleep except dadi ji, mummy ji and me, as far as I know, the guys wake up around 9 and Reyaansh, I don't think he is an early bird because he stays up until 1-2 am, as I witnessed that day.
He stopped and looked at me. "Uhh.,, I have some work" he said while fidgeting in hurry. "this early?"
His phone rang. He looked at the caller id and his face paled more than it already was.
"I will explain later" he said before hurrying outside.
What the hell was that?
I shook my head and turned back to walk back into the kitchen but my eyes fell on Devansh Ji, coming down the stairs rubbing his eyes. He was wearing grey sweat pants and a white t shirt. My eyes nearly popped out from the socket.
I could clearly see the lines of his muscles through the top. My breath hitched again remembering last night. The flashbacks came flooding into my head even though I didn't want it to. My cheeks heated up, I wanted to move but I felt like some how I have got stuck there.
My feet buried in the ground. I kept staring at him until he spoke. "Are you okay now?"
I stared up at him before finally making sense of his words, "Yes"
He looked at me, observing me slightly before nodding and walking away towards the garden.

It was evening time. I was sitting in Devika's room as she called me to talk with her. I thought it was a good thing she wanted to get along with me, because I am also getting kinda lonely here.
We were sitting on the bed as Devika started the conversation, "so, do you like chocolates?" she sald as she held up one for me.
This was the first time we were talking so it was very awkward. I shook my head slightly at the offer.
"Umm I don't like chocolate., you can have It" I smiled a bit.
"You don't like chocolate!!?" She asked in surprise..
I smiled awkwardly.. it wasn't common for a girl to dislike chocolate but I did.
She put the chocolate back and then asked. "so what do you like?"
I tried to think of something I really like. Many things came to my mind. From what I like to do to what I like to eat. But I chose to say the thing I love the most
"I like painting"
Her eyes widened. She looked at me excitement mixed with surprise, "oh? I never knew you could paint.."
"Now you know" I chuckled softly.
"Maybe I will get an opportunity to see you painting some day?" she smirked a bit.
"Why not?" I giggled and she giggled along with me.
Devika was nice, kind and goofy. She was pure soul who could be my only alliance in this big house. I felt comfortable around her just in these few mins. She was blabbering non stop and I kept listening to her. We spoke about various topic, like our fav food, colour, hobby, song and much more.
After talking to her I thought of going to the kitchen to see what was happening there. As I entered the kitchen the smell of delicious food filled my nostrils. I stood beside the maid watching her cook. I was bored so I was just spending my time here.
If I had my drawing set I would have just started drawing. I have to tell papa to send my drawing kit and everything here.
"Bhabi " a maid suddenly called me. I turned my head towards her but before she could say something I saw the furious figure of Devansh dadi standing there.
She looked like she would kill me right away just by her eyes. I felt my heart skip a beat in nervousness. I was so confused and scared. No one ever yelled at me in my house and I don't want to be yelled at now at my in laws house in the next day of marriage.
"How dare you walk into the kitchen when you're" she paused and looked at me in a disgusted way.
"Don't you know you shouldn't be in kitchen when you're menstruating!!?"
