Izuku, The Arch Mage.

Part 16. Tokyo - Dwin.

We start this chapter around noon on Izuku's second day in Black Clover.

"Yes? Did you need something, sir?" Izuku said, bowing to someone who appeared to be from the same squad as the captain yesterday, at least based on the emblem on their cloak.

"Yes. The captain has called for a meeting and requested that you attend." The person, a man with glasses and light blue hair, said.

"Understood. Where do I need to go?" Izuku asked, still not entirely sure where everything is.

"Right. The captain did mention you aren't from the capital." The man said, reaching into a bag he was carrying.

"Here. A simple map of the capital." The man said, handing a rolled-up paper to Izuku before unrolling it.

"The meeting is here. We should be here." The man said, pointing to two locations on the map.

"I trust you can make it on your own?" The man asked, looking up from the map.

"Yeah. I can make it." Izuku said, literally jumping up to the roof of a nearby building.

"See you there." Izuku said, running and jumping from roof to roof.

"Commoners. I'll never understand them." The man mumbled to himself, watching Izuku run and jump from roof to roof.

After a few minutes, Izuku lands just outside of the meeting location.

"You there! What business do you have here?" A guard said, seeing Izuku land nearby.

"I was called to attend a meeting here." Izuku said, dusting himself off.

"Wait here. I'll confirm your claims with the captains." The guard said before turning to another guard. "Watch him until I return." He said to the other guard before entering the building.

After a few minutes, the guard returned.

"Alright. You can head on in." The guard said, opening the door for Izuku.

"The captains are waiting for you in the third door on the left." The guard said.

"Thank you." Izuku said before entering the building and making his way to the captain's meeting room.

After walking in, the captain that Izuku met during the attack is the first to approach him.

"Pleased to see that you made it." The captain said, offering a small smile as a simple courtesy.

The captain was wearing a large red cape with a small yellow/gold cloak draped around the shoulders as an extra layer. He had a mostly white uniform with a wide blue stripe at the center, lined with gold buttons. He had gold-colored leather bracers around his wrists. He wore black leather boots that came up just below his knees. The strangest part of his outfit was the wooden helmet/mask he wore.

The blue markings around the left eye of the mask reminded Izuku of Todoroki.

"I am glad to have been invited." Izuku said, smiling back as a courtesy.

"Now that everyone's here, we can begin proper discussion." The captain said before returning to the front of the room.

"First, we must acknowledge the efforts of the traveler that aided the kingdom in our temporary absence." The captain said, gesturing towards Izuku.

"Now, while we are thankful for your assistance, and I'd hate to be disrespectful towards the one that aided us in a crisis..." The captain said, trailing off a bit.

"It's fine. You were just attacked after all, so I understand your need for caution. Please, don't hesitate to ask any questions." Izuku said, looking over at the captain.
