Juniper was at the train station with Derek and Isaac." Juniper, come on we got to go see someone who can help catch the Kanima." Derek says putting his hand out for her to take.
"Okay, who are we going to see?" Juniper asked the three headed out." Scott and Deaton." Derek says.
Juniper nods and Derek opens the car door and lets Juniper get in the back and Isaac in front. They head off to the animal clinic and go to the front door.
Scott opens the door and Derek walks in with Juniper on his hip and Isaac behind him.
"What's he doing here?" Scott asks looking at Isaac.
"I need him," Derek responds
"I don't trust him," Scott says.
"Yeah, well, he doesn't trust you, either," Issac says
"You know what? And Derek doesn't care."
"Now, where's the vet? Is he gonna help us, or not?" Derek says getting back on the subject.
"That depends." Deaton says stepping into the room."Your friend, Jackson... Are we planning to kill him, or save him?"
"Kill him/Save him." Derek and Scott said at the same time.
"Save him," Scott repeats and Derek shows a defeated face.
"Save him," Scott says to a satisfied Deaton.
Deaton nods and motions for them to follow him.

Deaton gets a bunch of glass containers and brings them over to the table. Isaac goes to touch them and Derek grabs his wrist.
"Watch what you touch." Derek scolds him."So, what are you, some kind of witch?" Isaac asks."No. I'm a veterinarian." Deaton says.
Juniper giggles at Isaac's facial expression. Isaac playfully glares at his pack sister. Derek gives him a warning look.
"Unfortunately, I don't see anything here that's going to be an effective defence against a paralytic toxin," Deaton informs us
"We're open to suggestions," Derek responds."What about an effective offence?" Isaac asks."We already tried," Scott said
"I nearly took its head off, and Argent emptied an entire clip into it. The thing just gets back up." Derek explains."Has it shown any weaknesses?" Deaton wonders.
"Well, one-- it can't swim," Derek tells him."Does that go for Jackson as well?" Deaton questions."No. He's the captain of the swim team," Scott says.
"Essentially, you're trying to catch two people." Deaton says holding up a coin." a puppet, and a puppeteer."
Deaton then places the coin on the operating table."One killed the husband, but the other had to take care of the wife. Do we know why?" Deaton says
"I don't think Jackson could do it." Scott says."His mother died pregnant, too, and she was maybe murdered. I think he couldn't let the same thing happen to someone else." Scott says.
"How do you know it's not part of the rules?"Isaac asks."The Kanima kills murderers. If Jackson kills the wife, then the baby dies, too." Isaac adds on.
"Does that mean your father was a murderer?" Scott asked l."Wouldn't surprise me if he was," Isaac responds."Hold on." Deaton says gaining everyone's attention. "The book says they're bonded, right?" Deaton questions
Derek nods in confirmation."What if the fear of water isn't coming from Jackson, but from the person controlling him? What if something affects the Kanima." Deaton says as he puts mountain ash around the coin." also affects its master?" Deaton wonders.
"Meaning what?" Derek says."Meaning we can catch them-- both of them," Scott said with a smile.
Derek was about to leave with Juniper and Isaac when he looked at Juniper."Hang on we need to talk about Juniper," Derek says, gaining Scott and Isaac's attention.
"She can't come with us tomorrow but she can't be left alone at the train station so where can she go? As I need her safe," Derek says. Deaton spoke up." She can stay here with me if she wants to?" Deaton offers.
Derek looks at Juniper who was holding both Scott and Isaac's hand." I'll stay here," Juniper nods." Okay then, remember don't leave here till I come and get you," Derek says softly smiling at her.
"I know Daddy," Juniper says with a smile." That's my girl," Derek says softly smiling at her. The trio heads home and waves goodbye to Scott and Deaton.

It was the night of the Rave and Juniper was with Deaton when the doorbell rang letting them know someone had walked in. Deaton held Juniper in his arms and walked out to see his baby sister Morell there." Hello Alan," Morell says.
"Marin, what are you doing here?" Deaton questions." Just coming to warn you about my alphas coming here for Derek and Scott," Morell says.
"Who is that?" Morell asked." No one you need to know about," Deaton says putting Juniper down and hiding her." She's Derek's daughter Juniper isn't she," Morell says.
"I'm Juniper Hale, nice to meet you," Juniper says shyly." She looks more like her mother than him," Morell says.
"Show yourself little one," Morell says softly as Juniper looks up at Deaton who slowly nods in confirmation it is okay.
Juniper showed her full face and Morell saw her face with the burns." You know if they see her face and he feels her face, they'll want her," Morell says with a look.
"They'll have a fight on their hands as she's well guarded and well protected," Deaton says in a warning tone.
"Then you best prepare them for what's to come, otherwise they'll be losses Alan," Morell warns before leaving the animal clinic.
Juniper looks up at Deaton," Are bad people coming here?" Juniper asks softly." Yes, bad alphas two of whom you're father is familiar with," Deaton says.
"Now Juniper I need you to never tell your father, Issac, or Scott about the conversation as I will tell them in my own time, okay?" Deaton says with a soft smile.
Derek arrived with Scott who was weakened by the wolfbane smoke." Put him on the table," Deaton says as Derek places him on the table and Deaton begins to fix Scott with ease.
Derek looks a little ill from the wolfsbane, while Scott is completely unconscious.
"Thank you," Derek says weakly to Deaton. Deaton nods in response." Hi Daddy, did you get Kanima and his boss?" Juniper says coming into the room.
"No unfortunately not," Derek says softly." Next time you will," Juniper says softly smiling at her dad." Yes, I will next time," Derek says softly smiling at her.
Juniper climbed into her dad's lap and they lay together all night long. Deaton watched over them and Morell returned to speak with Deaton.
"They know about her, so I suggest you tell them and you tell them quickly," Morell says walking away.
