Penelope

PART ONE CHAPTER ONE

 

   It's January right after the Christmas holidays Penelope is at school in the bathroom and she is "eating" lunch, why? You may ask. Well because she is being bullied for having two mums.

    After school Penelope was dropped of close to her home from the bus. As she entered her house she saw her little sister Staci running towards her. Penelope called her mum who's name is Megan.

P: Hey I’m back from school.

M: Oh hey dear how was school?

P: You know the usual. Boring and a bit fun we had Literature.

M: Oh believe me I know how much you love Literature. Well talk to you later dear I got to go back to work.

P: Okay mum, love you! Bye.

    Penelope went upstairs to her room to do her homework. About two and a half hours later she was done. It's 7:30 now Penelope is downstairs sitting on the sofa reading her book and she hears her phone ringing. It's her step mum Artemis.

A: Hey brat I am on my way home from work make me something to eat when I get there.

P: Okay step mother. What would you like to eat?

A: Make me pasta with sauce.

P: Of course step mother.

    Penelope got up and went to the kitchen. She put water on the sauce pan and after it started boiling she put the pasta inside. Then she started making the sauce. The moment she set the table, Artemis got home.

A: Brat where is my food?

P: It’s here step mother.

A: Good.

P: Of course any time.

    After that Penelope went to her room. She laid in bed and began reading her book again. Later Megan got home and Penelope went downstairs to greet her.

P: Hey mum!

M: Hey Penelope.

P: How was work?

M: It was okay dear.

P: I am going to grab a yogurt and go back to reading.

M: Okay honey just do not stay up too late okay?

P: Yes mum I know I have school tomorrow.

    Penelope ate her yogurt and went to her room. She went back to reading. As time passed, she checked the time and it was 1:30 AM. It’s time for bed said Penelope as she got up and placed her book on her desk and went to bed.
