The Midoryia Household

Izuku was quickly welcomed inside the manor by the main butler of the Midoryia residence, who guided him into the main living room. While the man went to fetch his granddaughter and her own daughter, he could not hold himself from admiring the numerous portraits of himself and other members of the family. He smile formed on his face as he saw a photo of his wife with him not long after their mariage.

Meeting Ikari and getting to know her was one of the best moment in his life. When he had met her the quirk war was still in full motion and the young Midoryia women was a courageous and quite vocal one. She had been one of the few person with a Meta Ability back then, that insisted about having peaceful discussions with the old Anti-Meta Regime, even after all the atrocities committed on both sides.

 Being the mastermind behind the Pacifist Coalition for Meta Humans Rights (PCMHR) and man leading the negotiations on their side, she undoubtedly caught his attention. At first, the whole coalition was mostly a facade to hide his ascension to ultimate power via taking over the entire industrial and economic world. But Ikari had manege with just a few meetings, to make his inner fire for justice and equality burn brighter that he ever thought possible.

Soon enough, he turned the younger women into the main voice of the coalition, using her great passion and talent for oration to push the general public to their side. Thanks to her interviews alone, she brought a few important victories to AFO's forces by dissuading the Anti-Meta Regime to counter attack too violently one a few occasions. She also greatly promoted Izuku's campaign on hiring workers with meta abilities, allowing him to pressure his rivals even further.

Needless to say, once the governments abdicated and the coalition had not any reason to exist anymore they both decided to live their lives together and married. And so, the Midoryia family became the most important and powerful household in Japan and even the world. This fact got even more cemented once AFO showed his true colors to the world, forcing Izuku to abandoned the Shigaraki name to become a Midoryia.

They lived a very happy life with Ikari becoming his personal secretary and together, shaped his empire into the unshakable colossus it was now today. Together, they had a son and a daughter who continued their bloodline in their own right, bringing to the world a few new generations with the most recent being Inko Midoryia with her daughter Izumi Midoryia. As for his dear wife, while he stayed alive and eternal she passed away of old age, now remembered and celebrated as a historical figure for quirked rights.

Ending his nostalgic train of thoughts, he passed around the living room before setting himself on the piano near the center to start playing. Izuku always had a passion for great music, since he was barely 5 years old he had fallen in love with baroque, classical and romantic music. He was a man of refined taste through and through. While he held a dozen of geniuses for the piano in high regards, he has a soft spot for Chopin and his talent for improvisation. 

It took around 15 minutes for hearing the sound of hurried footsteps coming his way, bringing a smile on his face as he finished his peace without hurry. He had recognized his granddaughter's presence thanks to the strong aroma of peaches and lilac of her favorite perfume, though he was surprised to not have the clicking of her high heels escorted by lighter footsteps. This absence  brought a small frown on his face as he finish playing, turning around to see Inko clapping her hands happily. 

Inko : Ojiisan, its been so long ! Happy to see that you have yet to loose your prowess for playing the piano.

Izuku : Inko, my dear. Come here and give your old man a hug !

Both embraced each other before making their way to the couches and sitting down. Right after being settled down, house maids were send away to bring them tea and appetizers while they started to catch up to each other. At first, it was mostly about how their day to day lives where going. While Izuku was keeping his "unethical works" secret and simply telling Inko that his job was mostly about keeping C.E.Os and HPSC leaders in check, she told him how her loyer career was going smooth as she was still benefiting from her family name and his wife's legacy.

Inko : Every night after a long day of work, I get to bed with a smile knowing that up there, both mother and grandmother are proud of what our family still brings to the world.

Izuku : I know that Ikari is as proud of you as I am myself. By the way, since we are talking about family, where is that good-for-nothing Hinashi ? Still too much occupied with his job in the US to be here for his wife and daughter, hum ?

Inko : Oh come on, Ojiisan ! You are not going to start with that again, do you ? You know that he is a good man and try his best for us.

Izuku : His best for what, bringing back money to pay the bills ? As if you have any problem with that ! When was the last time you saw his sorry a** in the flesh ?

Inko : Last year Christmas. But we have him in audio conference each weekend and the 3 of us always look forward to it. I know you don't like him for being so absent, but I'm sure you'll warm up to him someday. 

Izuku : Very well... if I can't have you show common sense in that regard, then I'll make him have some... Anyway tell me Inko, I can't keep overlooking the fact that a certain daughter of yours is missing right now. So, where is my favorite grand-granddaughter right now ?

Inko : Ah, Izumi ? She should be on the way back from school right now, she'll be home soon enough. You know, I was scared of bringing her to school at first since she is quirkless... But you were right, Somei junior high was a perfect choice for her ! No discrimination whatsoever and they had no mercy for those who tried to pick on Izumi.

Izuku : *chuckles* Of course they did ! I know they have high standards after all. Besides, my warning made it quite clear of what would happen to them if they failed in that regard...

Inko : By the way ! If I remember correctly she will be bringing her 2 best friends with her ! She will be so happy to present them to you ! 

Izuku : Really ? And who are they ?

Inko : The little brother of Ingenium, Tenya Iida if I remember his name right. And young Momo Yaoyorozu that surely already know about.

Izuku : Ah yes, the Yaoyorozu are good friends of mine. Not like they had a choice in that matter. Though I have yet to meet their daughter.

Inko : Well I'm sure they will...

Buttler : Madame, Izuku-sama ? Young mistress Izumi and her friends have just arrived.

Inko : Perfect, bring them over ! Well ojiisan, ready to meet them ?

Izuku : *smirks* Of course Inko, ready as I'll ever be.
