A Beautiful Night's View (part 2)

Chapter 7

Yunho can see the two girls standing bored next to the members who were eating on the table. "Dru and Faye why don't you come join us?" He looks at them anticipating for an answer. Faye looks back at Dru. "Thanks." Dru sits next to Minho who had an empty space available, Faye looks around for a vacant seat. Taemin budges and make some space for her. "Hey number one fangirl come sit with me!" Just in time Changmin calls out to her. She slowly walks towards him trying to hide her excitement and sits. A disappointed Taemin munches on his plain lettuce letting out the frustration as he glares at Faye who is sneaking small glances at her idol Changmin. Changmin sweetly serves some food to Faye. "This is a first, having dinner with a TVXQ fan, right Yunho?" Yunho nods at Changmin. Key interrupts them. "She is a Shinee fan as well, don't forget!" He pouts in his usual diva style. The nervous Faye fills her mouth with excessive amounts and chews on the solids at a fast pace. She feels the blocked pipe in her chest and begins to naturally hiccup. "Oh excuse me....Hiccup...How embarrassing. I think I was eating...Hiccup...too fast."  Taemin pours in some water for her but Changmin beats him to it once again. He holds his own glass of water and pours it into her mouth as the water rushes down her throat. "Is it all better now?" Faye's relieved face said it all. She gives him a thumbs up. Across the table Taemin rapidly drinks the water emptying the glass in one shot, his hands tightly clasp onto the glass, the force on the glass becomes unbearable, his fingers pierce through the walls and the transparent object shatters into a a variety of different sized pieces. The noise distracts everyone. Minho looks next to him and can see Taemin's hands trickling with red liquid holding the sharp edges of the glass. Dru get's up and takes the glass way from his hand, she cleans the mess up. Faye goes over to Taemin in concern. "Oh no! Your bleeding!" She takes his hand to take a closer look. "I'm fine." Taemin pulls his hand closer to himself and away from Faye. Minho bandages his hand up and cleans the dripping blood while Faye sits next to him silently until he is done. A while later TVXQ's manager comes to collect them. The members embrace and say their goodbyes. Changmin winks at Faye playfully. "Changmin you are so handsome!" Changmin jokingly glares at her and gets his hands in a position to hit her. "Are you crazy?!" Both idol and fan laugh at themselves. Faye waits at the door and waves both members goodbye.  

The athletic Minho goes out for another jog, once again. On his way he spots a cute white, furry cat that meows at him. He strokes the cat that moves his head towards Minho's soft fingers. He looks at the name tag. "You have an owner? Is the cat lost?" The cat's tail moves upwards, it's small legs bend and the cat jumps and walks off somewhere. Minho follows the stray cat thinking it's lost. The cat runs into a familiar place and is held by the fortune teller lady, she strokes it and smothers it with kisses. "Oh my baby kitty! You are so cute. Who's your momma? Who's your momma?...Hey. It's you again! What are you doing here?" Minho is about to reply and is cut of half way by the assistant. "Handsome man! We are very sorry. We didn't mean to!" A confused Minho raises an eyebrow. "What for?" The fortune teller hits the assistant's arm and whispers to her. "Why did you have to tell him you idiot! He was unaware of it but you have leaked a formation of doubt in his head now!" Minho walks up to them both who have guilty looks on their faces but cover their emotions with fake smiles. "Tell me the truth. What are you sorry for? I knew you guys were a little suspicious." The fortune teller clears her throat. "Well...I.. might have made a petty mistake. When I was interrupted by  my assistant....I got confused and said you will have competition. This was not true for you but it was meant to be for someone else you know. Maybe a loved one that is in a relationship, that needs to remain careful. But it does not apply to your case. Again sorry for the wrong reading. It was a mistake." Minho creates a fist with his hand. "Yes! No competition. Things will be so much more easier now!" He takes out his wallet and pays the fortune tellers a hefty amount, the assistant's eyes widen. "Thank you handsome man. Thank you handsome man." Minho walks out with a large grin on his face accompanied with a cheery walk. 

Excited to tell Faye the good news Minho walks into the kitchen expecting to see her. "Where is Faye?" Dru finishes of her work. "She left early, had some work to do in the dorm." Minho walks up to Dru. "So are you fine with me now? Please say you have forgiven me?" Dru jerks her head and flips her hair, putting it in place. "Well since you set Faye to do the job. I guess she has succeeded. But don't expect anything from me. We are just friends." Minho holds both Dru's hands in his hands. "I promise you, I won't let you down this time!" Dru replies to him. "Okay friend."
