VALENTINA HAD A TRAUMATIC CHILDHOOD, her parents were bad people. They were abusive to their only child but they killed people and got away with it.

They got away with it until the FBI finally caught them. Valentina was put into the system and when she was finally at the age she could fend for herself, she joined the FBI.

Valentina wanted to catch people like her parents, people who did bad things to innocent people. Valentina's parents are locked away in prison and they will be for life, Valentina will always be thankful for that.

Valentina was part of the BAU and always found Hotch as a father figure. He was sweet to her and always understood her despite her family background.

Valentina got along well with Morgan as well as Spencer. Valentina always found Spencer good looking, he had an excellent mind and he was what Valentina likes to call him a 'pretty boy'.

They always had the nicknames for each other, 'pretty boy' and 'pretty girl'. It was their thing, if anyone else called them that it was weird.

Spencer knows about Valentina's past and that's why sometimes it's harder for her to deal with some cases because it's close to home. You could say he's protective.

Valentina was a strong woman who could most definitely kill somebody like her parents but she would never. She couldn't dream of being like her parents.

Valentina had her own apartment but somehow she ends up staying with Spencer a lot. She enjoys his company, it's just friendship, at least that's what she thinks.

Valentina thinks that if she admits she has feelings for Spencer, he'll laugh in her face or tell her that she's being stupid. Spencer feels the exact same.

Valentina has a Spanish background, Spanish parents, family tree and she speaks fluent Spanish which helps when something needs translated but it's also funny when she starts shouting at someone in Spanish.

Valentina usually shouts at Morgan which a lot of people find funny, especially when he stands there not knowing what she's saying.

Though, Valentina and Morgan did get along well. They worked well together, even if Morgan made flirty jokes a lot.

Valentina knew the dangers of the FBI yet she stayed, risking her life everyday for the greater good. Doing things that her asshole parents never could.

In Valentina's mind, every person she saves is a person back from her parents doing. Valentina wanted to help the world to prove that she is nothing like her mother and father.

Valentina's never visited her parents and she doesn't intend to, she'd rather go on with her life instead of worrying what some serial killers are doing in jail. She's just glad they'll never get out again.

Other than her parents and childhood, Valentina has a very good life. Good friends, good work family. She's set and she wouldn't want it any other way.
