"DEREK, CALL HIM!" VALENTINA SAID, PICKING up her pacing again. Spencer stopped her midway, holding her in place by her hips from behind her, rubbing comforting circles with his thumbs.

"Okay." Derek said, calling Gideon. When Gideon picked up, Derek sighed, "Gideon, Heather's alive."

There was a pause before Derek spoke again, "Because we're watching her right now."

Valentina hid her face in her hands, her head was way too busy for this. She knew it was her job but she couldn't help but want to get in a car and drive to a new country and start all over again with a new name.

On the laptop screen, Heather was sat in a cage, tied up like an animal which made Valentina want to jump through the bloody screen and deck whoever hurt her.

"We need to sit down and keep an eye on her." Spencer said, making Valentina shake her head, "You don't have to watch, just look somewhere else, okay?"

Spencer lead Valentina over to the single sofa seat. Valentina sat on the arm, Spencer on the actual seat part, his arm draped around her hips.

After a while, they switched, Derek sat down, Valentina returned to her pacing and Spencer stood behind Derek, "Morgan, can you show me the last 12 images line up next to each other?"

"Yeah." Derek sighed, pulling up the last 12 images together.

"Right there." Spencer pointed at one of the pictures, "Right there, you see that? The light bulb hanging from the wire?"

"Yeah, what about it?" Derek asked, staring at the photos.

"It's shifting positions." Spencer said, "Like it's swaying. Like the earth is tilting."

"Or like she's on a boat, the ocean, that would make the light bulb sway." Valentina said from the other side of the laptop so she didn't have to see Heather in that state.

"It's a pier or a dock." Derek said, "He wouldn't be able to transmit the webcam image front eh middle of the ocean."

There was a pause, "It's the best we've got, Hotch. But even if we're right, getting the exact location s on you, my friend."

"To work me a little magic." Derek smirked while being on the phone to Hotch? I thought that was his and Garcia's thing?

In the end. Heather got to the hospital safely and the bag guy, oh who cares as long as he was stopped. Valentina was stood with Spencer, playing with the ends of her sleeves until Spencer stopped her.

"Stop worrying about whatever it is." Spencer smiled, looking down at the Spanish girl.

"I don't think I should stay with you." Valentina blurted out, "It wouldn't be safe. If David were to find me and hurt you... I'd never forgive myself, Spence."

"Hey, no. Look, I may not be the strongest but you are staying with me. Let this David guy come after you. I dare him to, he'll see what happens." Spencer smirked, Valentina hadn't really seen the protective side of Spencer but damn she loved it.

"Are you sure—"

"Shut up. You're staying with me, you don't have a choice." Spencer said before walking over to Hotch and Derek, joining in on their conversation before Valentina walked over.

"Appropriate." Spencer smiled, taking Valentina's hand and leading her away from the two of the boys so they could talk as he rubbed comforting circles on the back of her had with his thumb.

Back on the jet flight home, Derek and Spencer had fallen asleep. Valentina was sat alone on her laptop, doing some investigation of her own.

Valentina searched up his name over and over again and yet nothing showed up about him. No socials, nothing. It was like he didn't exist.

The internet had no knowledge of David Rosters.
