Mr. Kim and Jackson sat in the dimly lit meeting room, across from the Bae family, one of the most powerful groups in Asia. The topic of dealing with the Park family professionally was finally settled.

Bae Joong leaned back, laughing as he signed the agreement, sealing their alliance. "This partnership will bring the Kim and Bae families to the top."

Bae Joong: "Jackson, how about a dinner tonight to celebrate?"

Jackson, smiling politely: "Yeah, sure. We need to celebrate this victory."

Bae Joong: "Unfortunately, I’m leaving for Japan tonight."

Jackson, trying to mask his relief: "Then perhaps we can meet after you return?"

Bae Joong, waving it off: "Oh no, no, we shouldn’t push these things off. My daughter will join you for dinner."

Jackson’s smile froze. Inside, he was screaming. But on the surface, he nodded. "Yeah, I’m fine with that."

He subtly rolled his eyes toward Mr. Kim, who gave him a knowing glance but said nothing.

Taehyung received a call from Mr. Oh, his trusted informant. He listened intently as Mr. Oh detailed the latest developments regarding the Parks’ movements.

Mr. Oh: " Bae family is joining forces with the Kims to take a stand against the Parks."

Taehyung smirked, his mind already calculating the implications.

Taehyung : "Good. Make sure to share everything that happens in the company with me. They’ve been keeping me out of the loop, but I’ll be damned if I don’t know what’s happening."

Mr. Oh: "Of course. I’ll keep you informed."

As Taehyung hung up, he pieced together the bigger picture. A professional move against the Parks was the smartest play for now—and with the Bae family involved, the stakes were higher than ever. But he wasn’t about to be left in the dark. Not when he knew how to stay ahead of everyone else.

Jimin and Jinyoung were settled on the couch, engrossed in a movie, when Jungkook stormed inside, furiously calling Jackson over and over.

Jinyoung (frustrated): "God, why do these motherfuckers always show up when I’m watching a new movie?"

Jimin threw a fistful of popcorn at Jungkook: "Jungkook, stop screaming in my ear!"

Taehyung appeared from the hallway, raising an eyebrow: "Why the hell are you yelling?"

Jungkook spun around, his voice filled with fury. "Jackson. He beat up my brother!"

Jinyoung, Jimin, and Taehyung exchanged a glance—they clearly already knew.

Just then, Jackson walked in, through front door and Jungkook immediately turned to face him, fuming. "You... beat up my brother?"

Jackson, completely done with the chaos: "No, I kissed him."

Jungkook, shocked: "WHAT... you guys were dating? wait —you’re his ex-lover?!"

Taehyung huffed, and Jinyoung burst into laughter, with Taehyung soon joining in.
