The two relocate to yet another abandoned building. Tadashi had remained silent the entire way there and when they finally arrived. He was consumed by shame, shock, regret, anger, fear, and probably every emotion to ever exist. He didn't even recognize himself anymore. Hiro was right...he shouldn't be alive now. And he's not proud of this new life he's stuck in, at all.

"I have what we need. Tomorrow, we get to Krei at the opening ceremony for that new campus of his. He's finished."

Callaghan looked back at Tadashi when he didn't get a response like he was expecting to. Tadashi had his gaze locked on the ground, face covered in regret and disbelief.

"I told him....that I wasn't his brother anymore..." His meek voice trembles.

"What are you talking about, boy?"

"I-I threatened them....that I'd...k-kill them....my best friends....my brother....how could I...?" His fists clench at his side as his breathing became irregular.

"You did what you had to. Now stop moping, it's a waste of time. We're hitting Krei without mercy, and destroying everything. You're coming with me, whether you like it or not." Callaghan commanded.

Tadashi slowly tears his eyes away from the floor and onto Callaghan with a cold, unreadable expression.

"I only said it....so you wouldn't hurt them...don't talk to me like I'm some heartless monster." He spoke through gritted teeth.

"You are a monster now, Tadashi. A horrible person. Those 6 will be destroyed the second I see them again, I just know they'll get in my path again with this attack." Callaghan looks down on him.

Tadashi meets his gaze with disbelief and seething anger underneath the surface.

"No....I did what you asked! I left my family again to keep them AWAY from you!!" He was losing his composure.

"They're the ones deliberately trying to stop me, and for that, they WILL be put down! No mercy to ANY of them. Not even for you." Callaghan growled.

"Then what the hell was all of this for, huh?! Why am I doing any of this is you aren't keeping your end of the deal! Why bother saving me at all?! You could've left me to die in that fire! You had every means to make sure I died in that fire, why didn't you?!"

"Simple! I wanted your brain. I've gotten to know you well enough over these last few years to know how you work, how your mind works, and how you run your races. I know what lifts you up, what breaks you down, what tears you apart, your weak spots, everything."

"You used me..." Tadashi spat.

"Yeah, I did use you. I knew what buttons to press to ensure you wouldn't run off and do what I asked. I didn't need your brains or anything from you. I never needed you. But I knew that if I had you, my win would come easy." Callaghan chuckled darkly.

"Then this program isn't for you, professor."

As fast as his reflexes would allow him to go, he launched a blade at him, successfully knocking the mask off of Callaghans startled face. Tadashi let out a guttural scream, getting on top of the man and bringing a blade down on him. At the last moment, Callaghan caught his wrist with the tip of the blade only mere inches away from his face. In a fit of rage, Tadashi was using all of his strength to push back against Callaghan and push the blade downward towards his neck. Tadashi Hamada was slow to anger, level headed, and usually kept any stress to himself that he'd vent out later. But this, this was Tadashi Hamada when he was really mad.

"You should've left me die..." Tadashi growls.

"Maybe I should've!"

Callaghan kicks the boy off of him and retrieves the mask, sending the bots after him. Tadashi was pretty good at dodging what Callaghan had used to train him. But despite all of that adrenaline pumping through his veins, Callaghan had him coiled and thrown into a room, barricading him in from the outside.

"Stupid kid. I'll do this myself. Your little team of heroes are finished."

Hearing him leave the place, Tadashi was still acting upon his rage and adrenaline. He banged on the door, screamed, cursed his name, kicked things, threw things, broke things, completely trashing the place. When all of that died down, he couldn't tell what was his sweat or tears. His body shook from exhaustion as he took this time to truly cry, whether it was over things of the past, present frustrations, or the fear of the unknown future events.

'I'm so stupid. I should've never been saved.'

When he finally got himself to pull it together, he wiped his face, now red and puffy from crying, and took a deep breath. He soaked in the silence and looked around, trying to clear his head. When he looked up, he saw an air vent right above him, wide open. He felt the blood flowing and his heart start pumping. With new found determination, he knew his job now. He was done hiding and being shoved around.

"I'm coming, Hiro..."
