Chapter 95

In the town of Musutafu, a nerve-wracking Genshirou was begrudgingly walking beside Koneko and Izuku for the latter's "Operation: Shattered Sword" plan. He had made attempts to break off from the group a few minutes ago, but a glare from the white-haired loli would always force him to remain by their side.

"huuuuuuuuuuh," Saji moans with closed eyes. "Do I really have to be here? I think you two are strong enough together without me."

"The stronger we are in numbers, the better," Izuku says in response before looking back forward in the search for the Exorcists. "Anyway, it'll be pretty tough for us to find them. I mean, where would one find girls wearing cloaks on a damn street?"

"Bring many blessings on the wandering sheep."

"We are pitiful compared to you, O Lord. Please have mercy upon our souls."

Izuku's question was immediately answered when he, Saji, and Koneko turn to see Irina and Xenovia speaking Christian-related words to other people while the former exorcist was holding an opened brown box. Upon further inspection, the three Devils deadpanned when they saw the two next to a handmade sign that says "Help the hand of love."

"Are… they begging for money?" Genshirou questions, noticing that some of the people were giving them weird looks. "Because that's what it looks like to me."

"Well you're eyes aren't fooling you... Wonder why their doing this in the first place?" Izuku questioned.

While Koneko's face remained stoic as she kept an eye on the blond Pawn, making sure he doesn't sneak away.

"Izu-chan? What are you doing here?"

Izuku looked over towards Irina when the group heard her speak to them with Xenovia following behind her with a cocked brow at Izuku.

The boy in question quickly made an observation as best as he could and seeing the way the two girls acted made him have an answer.

"Well me and my friends here were simply just walking around and it looks to me you guys are on your last leg....how about I offer you guys something to eat, my treat" he said this with a smile.

"Really?" Xenovia chimes in with suspicion in her eyes. "I find that hard to be-"

The blue-haired Exorcist was interrupted when Irina stopped her.

"Xenovia, let's just appreciate that he's willing to help us and besides, Izu-chan was sincere when he said he was sorry for that stunt he pulled off yesterday. Plus, despite him being a Devil, I'll have to trust him, for now."

Xenovia blinks at Irina in surprise.

"But… Irina-" after receiving a look from her partner, Xenovia sighed in defeat. "Very well, Izuku Midoriya… We shall… accept your hospitality… just this once."

After that was settled, Izuku has taken the gang to a nearby Chick-Fil-A restaurant and ordered them their food of choice.

Once their food arrived at the booth the gang were sitting at, the Devils watch the Exorcists chow down their meals like a pack of wolves, with Izuku chuckling at the sight.
