"No, Lottie. That's such an immature game." I whine as my dark-haired friend drags me through her home.
The team won a game and we decided to celebrate together. Lotties mom and dad are on some fancy vacation, so she offered to host.
I had to stay with my little brother until my mom got home, so I'm a couple of hours late to the party. As Lottie pulled me inside, she told me they had just decided on playing seven minutes in heaven.
"Okay, don't play then. But we're all drunk, and we want to play." She tells me, dragging me down the stairs to the basement.
All the girls are sitting on the floor in a circle, furniture pished up against walls to make room. "Y/N is here!" Lottie shouts, making both of your presence known.
They all yell,'Hey's and 'Hello's as I grab a beer out of the cooler near the stare case. "Okay, who wants to go first?" Van asks, holding out an empty booze bottle.
"I'll go!" Lottie shouts, sitting back down in her old spot and taking the bottle from Van. I watch the glass as it spins around in a circle, making my way to the couch.
The bottle lands on Laura Lee, and all the other girls let out teasing 'oooooo's. We watch the two head over to the closet door, open it, and step inside. Tai goes up behind them, keeping her eyes glued to her watch and says, "annnnnd go!" As she slams the door shut.
"Y/N, you should really come play. It'll sound more fun once you finish that drink, I promise." Van tells me. I sigh dramatically and pretend to think about it for a second, "Nope, I'm good."
Van rolls her eyes but decides to leave me be. They all begin to engage in pointless small talk to fill the seven minutes, and I sit quietly and drink my beer.
My peace is quickly interrupted, however, when Natalie comes over and sits beside me on the couch. "Can I help you?" I say sarcastically, but smile sweetly. "Yeah, actually. Come sit next to me and play." The blonde says.
I've always felt Natalie had a little friend crush on me or something. She always has a boyfriend, but somehow seems to always be around me. I mean, she's always on my team when we practice, she makes sure to carpool in the same vehicle, and at parties, she's always my beer pong partner.
"Fine." I sigh. I kind of have a crush on her too.
