"Okay, what did you guys get for number five?" The teacher asks the class. I'm sat beside my bestfriend, Nat. We're definitely not paying attention to whatever the teacher is saying, but the students answer to her question intrigues me.
"Six point nine." A student answers number five. I giggle, making Nat look at me and whisper, "What's funny?"
"What's six point nine? A good thing ruined by a period." I whisper. Nat smiles, silently laughing and rolling her eyes. "You're stupid." She tells me. "Have you ever done it?" I ask quietly.
"Done what?" She asks. "Sixty nine." I elaborate. Nats eyes widen, realizing what I'm talking about. "No, have you?" She asks. I just giggle, not answering her either way. "Have you?" She asks again, slightly too loud.
"Miss Scatorccio, something you'd like to share with the class?" The teacher asks, singling out Natalie. "No, sorry." She says, trying to get the spotlight off of herself as quick as possible.
The teacher moves on, continuing to go over the assignment. "Have you?" Nat asks me again, being sure to whisper this time. "No, dummy." I whisper back. Nats face radiates relief, making me giggle.
The bell rings and Nat and I pack up our belongings, leaving the class to go to our next. As we enter the hallway, Nat drapes her arm around my shoulders, pulling me to walk right beside her.
"You sure you haven't done it? You hesitated before." Nat asks me, finally being able to talk in a normal volume. "Why do you wanna know so bad blondie?" I joke. "I don't." She scoffs. "Mhhm. Whatever you say, baby." I smile, not believing a word she's saying.
I glance at her, noticing her cheeks turn red at the nickname. "You're cute." I laugh. "Shut up." Nat says defensively, a smile still on her pink face.
"I can't imagine how red you'd get if I asked you to try it with me." I say quietly and teasingly. "What?" Nat asks, definitely shocked I even mentioned it. "You heard me. This is my class. Bye, blondie." I tell her.
I peck her cheek, smiling when her face grows even pinker. Nat removes her arm from my shoulder, allowing me to walk into my next class. "Bye, you tease!" Nat says as I wave with my fingers.
A/N
You know how I posted that I had a story idea. Well, I think if I was to post it, I'd have to remove a lot of the scenes it would need to be powerful. Like I think it would be a great book, but it'd be extremely dark and have a lot of themes that would not be appropriate for wattpad. Such as r@pe/sexual assault and murder. That type of stuff that would totally change the story and show a lot of meaning. If you guys want to see a story description let me know, but I don't know if I'd be able to publish the story.
