MIKHA'S POV

"Pupunta ba mga kaibigan mo mamaya?" Asked by Tito Mav.

He's at my room right now. Whole day, ngayon lang kami nagkita. The whole house ay busy kasi sa preparation.

"Happy birthday Tito!" I hugged him, after i'm finished on buttoning my white sleeves.

I'm preparing myself for the party later, naka formal attire lang ako, black pants and white sleeves.

"To answer your question kanina Tito, yes they're going.. Actually papunta na sila right now." He nods, and suddenly his face become serious.

"Do they know?"

"They don't, ayaw kong pati sila madamay pa Tito..."

Hindi ko kaya na pati sila pinuproblema pa yung dapat sa pamilya lang namin. This is our fight not them. And i don't want them to get hurt.

"I agree with that..and as much as possible Mikha...please keep it a secret between us. Ayaw kong may makakaalam pa nito...the more people know, mas lalo lang magiging komplikado lahat." I nodded, appreciating his understanding.

"Yes, Tito. I promise, it stays between us." He looked relieved, but his eyes still carried worry.

"Just be careful always Mikha, okay? And later i want you to be aware of your surroundings, we don't know ano posibleng mangyayari mamaya." I took a deep breath, trying to steady my racing heart.

"I will, Tito. Just enjoy your party later, ako na bahala.." He smiled faintly, before going out of my room.

I admit, I'm nervous...we don't know what's the next move they're going to do. There will be many people later, so hindi natin malalaman who's the kakampi and kaaway.

But what's on my mind right now, is the safety of my family, friends, and Aiah.

I need to protect them even if it cost my life.

GWEN'S POV

We are here now sa party, and kanina pa ako naguguluhan sa mga sinabi sa akin ni Mikha bago umalis at makipag usap sa mga business partners at bisita ng kanilang pamilya.

"Look out for our friends Gwen...and ikaw na muna bahala kay Aiah for me." She said that like parang may mangyayari na hindi namin alam.

And that's bothering me.

"Ok ka lang bebe?" Sheena asked, her brow furrowing in concern.

"H-huh?" I snapped back to reality.

"Nakakunot kasi noo mo, may problema ba?" Sheena asked, i didn't notice na I'm nilalamon of my own thoughts.

"Nothing bebe.." I replied, cupping her chin gently and leaning my cheek against hers, feeling the warmth between us.

She giggled, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Ang tagal naman ng dalawa na yon! Ano ba ginawa nila sa cr?!" Etong si Jhoanna kanina pa hindi mapakali, nag cr kasi si Maloi at Stacey pero wala parin sila hanggang ngayon.

"Tumahimik ka nga Jho." Colet said, clearly annoyed. We all knew she was just anxious, especially na kanina pa nagpaalam yung dalawa na puminta sa cr.
