She's been acting very unreasonable these days. It also did not help that he had to stay over his grandparents' house for a week since lumuwas ng bansa ang mga ito.

"Was that Cam?" She was wearing a tucked in beige flowy long sleeve top and a pair of slacks. Lahat silang magkakaibigan ay naka formal or smart casual attire.

Napakamot sya sa kanyang batok. He tried to hind his frown. "Yeah. She was busy."

Bahagya naman itong tumango. "I thought you knew." nagtatakang sabi nito. "Nagtext sya kaninang umaga sakin, at it seemed that Anton and Ethan also has an idea about it."

Gumawa nalamang sya ng kapanipaniwalang dahilan for taking his time at bumalik sa ilan pa nilang kasama.

"Wouldn't it be funny to run around the arcade with these drips?" suhestiyon ni Ross.

They decided to split into two cars.  He got this car as a Christmas present from his Dad. He had always asked for one. It would also be convenient for the early basketball practices. Ethan was driving the other one and with him were Anton, Messy and Ross.

Prox and Louise were talking about football matches, but Mason's mind was off to nowhere. Maybe it was the new car. Maybe it was the Friday Nights. He never also had time to spend lunches with his friends because lunch time is coding practice for a hackathon.

Do I actually have a fucked up time management?

"Sobrang busy ni Cam these days, right Mase." Prox said, almost sounded amused. He clenched his jaw at the mention of her.

"That's so true." pagsang-ayon naman ni Louise. "I at least wanted to see all of you guys this time."

"Two weeks nalang, and you're done with the quiz bee." sabi ni Prox.

Louise let out an exaggerated hurray. "Finally! I'd be able to get rid of Mason." Natatawang sabi nito. "Mawala sana yung umay ko sayo if I saw Cam, it's been ages since I actually had a proper conversation with her. She also doesn't spend lunchtime with us girls."

Nabahala sya sa narinig. He doesn't know that. All he knows is that she at least eats her lunches as she told him over texts. She would send lunchbox pictures so he was assured to confirm she was eating.

"Hindi na rin sya kumakain kasabay niyo?"

"Yeah, she spends most of her time reading. Anton said it was her dad's." And during that, he was the one who'd try to eat lunch with her in their classroom, though she was hellbent on sending him away kapag nagsimula syang dumaldal.
