"The beast, now the Handsome prince came back to life, while Belle stood astonished. Time froze around them, as their eyes met - eyes that held untold emotions of love for each other."

"Their bodies collided before his lips sealed hers with the promise for an eternity. Her true love had ultimately changed the beast."

I read, as my eyes gleamed with happiness, looking at the book. Beauty and the Beast.

The time old classic. No matter how many times I read this, each time was like a fresh start for me. Its theme of True Love is what resonated with me. It was all what I had ever desired for.

I was pretty.

With doe eyes that were ocean blue and a heart shaped face, it wasn't all too difficult to get a boyfriend, but true love... I paused. I wasn't too sure about tha-

"Y/N! Breakfast's ready. Come down and have it lest you wanna miss your college today!"

It was my elder sister calling out for me. Kang Yun-Hee.

I sighed, glancing at the picture of my mom and dad. Looking at my reflection for the last time in the mirror, I closed my door, proceeding downstairs while I held the book in my hand.

As I neared our kitchen, my mood started picking up. Unnie's cooking sure did the wonders.

I smiled, hugging her from the back, before placing the book on the island.

After our parents she had been my only family. She had always been my happy pill. Always thinking the best for me, staying strong for me, though I knew - deep down she missed them too - She was my role model. Managing our house while earning at the same time - I could have never done that. I was grateful to her.

"Good morning unnie" I said, coming out of my thoughts as she turned around to look at me.

"Good morning sweetie. Would you mind placing out these dishes on the island?" she asked, smiling at me, as she moved back and forth, organising things.

"Yes I would mind" I replied, my tone a sharp contrast from earlier, as I drew out a reaction from her. She looked flustered.

I mentally laughed. She was also a great friend to pull a leg at.

"What do you mean Y/n?" she catechised, gazing at me.

Thats it. I chortled.

"Calm down unnie. I am kidding."

"Aish you girl. Now move your pretty little ass and help me out." she retorted, flicking my forehead.

"Ouch! that hurts" I exclaimed, pouting at her.

"That's called tit for tat, little girl. Go now" unnie replied, a victorious smirk dancing across her face.

"Yeah yeah whatever" I stated, carrying out the dishes.

-

I was almost done placing the dishes, when I heard someone ringing at the door. I looked at the clock. Quarter past seven. It had to be HIM.

"Y/n can you-"

"Yeah don't worry I got this."

As I opened the door, I was welcomed by a soft pair of chocolate brown - monolid - eyes, a grecian nose, and round plump lips, grinning at me.

I was right.
