As he adjusted his outfit, his reflection flashed a charming, innocent smile, but Mr. Lee wasn't fooled. "Don't I look like a typical new student at Ravenswood?" he asked, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Mr. Lee's gaze remained skeptical, his eyes never quite meeting the boy's, as if he could see right through the facade. The casual white sweatshirt and black cargo pants were the perfect disguise, but Mr. Lee's instincts whispered that there was more to this boy than met the eye.

"B-boss?"

He finally questioned, meeting the male's gaze.

"I-I really think..." He paused "...all of this...it isn't right."

Jungkook who earlier had been preoccupied decking himself, stopped - realizing his henchman's anything but encouraging words. His gaze shifted and settled on him. The previous sense of satisfaction replaced with something dark.

"What do you mean? Mr. Lee?"

The man gulped. "You're obsessed with her...Just the way you were with Dr. Sara-"

Before he could utter further he found himself being cut off the oxygen supply by surprisingly a very calm jungkook. His face held a smile while the sole power of his veined hand almost crushed his windpipe. The other male frantically gnawed at his hand, begging for release, realizing too late that he had unwittingly triggered a deep-seated nerve.

"B-b-boss pl-ple-pleas-please....I-I'm..s-sorr-sorry."

Though barely audible, he choked the words out. His face pale in contrast to Jungkook's as he slowly yet calculately chuckled near his ear, before his jaw visibly clenched, sending tremors down his spine.

"Next time..." he finally let go off his neck before Mr. Lee broke out into jolts of horrendous coughs, scrambling in the oxygen as Jungkook continued, "be careful of the nonsense you spat or maybe you'll lose that filthy tongue of yours."

With a deliberate flourish, he adjusted his watch, casting occasional glances at the time as the familiar smirk re-appeared on his face. He turned to walk away, pausing just to glance at the other individual.

"Consider yourself lucky, I'm leaving. After all, good students wouldn't dare be late on their first day of college."

The words dripped with sarcasm, leaving no doubt that he was the one who truly held the upper hand, while he was his henchman - a mere puppeteer he could crush with his fingers as in when he desired.

Friday morning unfolded with precision, as a convoy of black SUVs pulled up in front of Ravenswood College. Mr. Lee and his team of men in black swiftly disembarked, forming a barrier between the college and the swarming media. In an instant, the doors of the lead SUV swung open, and a figure emerged, commanding the attention of the entire college.

The air was heavy with anticipation as the students and faculty froze, their eyes fixed on the newcomer. His demeanor was imposing, his very presence demanding silence. A sly smirk played on his lips as he strode into the college, his face a mask of darkness and intensity.

The atmosphere was electric, the weight of his reputation almost preceding him like a dark cloud. Whispers and gasps rippled through the crowd, but the legend himself seemed oblivious to the commotion while his eyes scanned the sea of faces with a singular focus - searching for one person in particular: Kang Y/n.
