Before anything I wanna thank @Iriskmie for her loads of votes and lovely comments on the previous chapters of my fanfiction. I love the fact that her comments made my day while I was on my temporary hiatus from writing. Love ya sweetie!
The previous night had been dark and the morning looked even more so, with no signs of sunlight. Subtle but obvious winds slapped against the window sills of the bedroom, disturbing the female's sleep in the process. Her eyes shot open in an instant as events from last night came rushing towards her.
...She running down the alley from the faint yet more than obvious footsteps...
...Escaping from her near rape case...Crashing at Gyeong-hui's...
...Don't you dare cry, Kang Y/n - the star of the show...
The memory of the message sent tremors throughout her exhausted figure as she clutched her head that throbbed with a jolt of pain.
"Here cappuccino, just the way you like it."
Her eyes shifted to the her friend and then to the coffee mug in her hand as she sat against the headrest, giving her a weary smile. Her profound thoughts had possibly deafened her to not realise her entry.
"Thanks Gyeong-Hui."
She took the first sip and thankfully her taste buds were well in contact amidst everything sending a wave of both flavour and warmth across her body.
"Now tell me what happened last night."
Y/n stilled, putting the coffee mug on the nightstand, sighing in the process. She hadn't mentioned anything to her except for the fact that she showed up at her apartment looking all messed up apart from her red puffy eyes.
Gyeong-Hui hadn't pushed her to speak, but instead just embraced her into a hug that felt secure and lulled her to sleep knowing it wasn't the right time for anything.
And she was grateful to her for that, but as for her part she had to tell her. First because they were best friends and second she knew Gyeong-hui well enough to understand that the emotions of shock, surprise and worry were eating her from the inside. The fact that a sloth like her was up and around so early was bigger than any evidence.
"I...." she began. "I was almost...raped after our...conversation...and..."
"BITCH?! WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
Gyeong-Hui more than petrified looked angry at me. Ofcourse. I don't blame her. Anyone would do the same given how things had unfolded around me.
"Kang Y/n? Do you understand the gravity of the situation?! You could've been KILLED by that bastard. Not to mention about the current situations in Seoul!"
I deeply sighed watching her drop next to me on the bed as a wave of guilt coursed all over my psychique. "I'm sorry, Gyeong-Hui."
"Sorry?! Have you ever thought about what would would happen off me if something happens to you? Or about JIMIN? Fuck! It's my fault. I shouldn't have left you there in the first place."
