The streets of Seoul buzzed with life as Lina stepped out of the airport, her heart racing with excitement. It had been years since she had last visited Taehyung, her best friend since childhood. They had grown up together in a small town, sharing secrets, dreams, and countless adventures. Now, as she walked through the bustling city, she felt a mix of nostalgia and anticipation. Taehyung had always promised her that one day she would experience the vibrant life of Seoul, and now that day had finally come.
She had just settled into her hotel room when her phone buzzed. It was a message from Taehyung, filled with enthusiasm.
Taehyung: “Can’t wait to see you! I’ll pick you up in an hour! Get ready for the best time ever!”
Lina smiled, her heart swelling with warmth at the thought of seeing him again. Taehyung had always been the life of the party, full of energy and laughter. As she freshened up and picked out a cute outfit, she couldn’t shake off the flutter of nerves in her stomach. What if things had changed too much? What if their friendship felt different now that they were older?
An hour later, there was a knock at her hotel room door. She opened it to find Taehyung standing there, his trademark grin lighting up his face.
“Lina!” he exclaimed, pulling her into a tight hug.
“I missed you, you silly goof!” she laughed, hugging him back.
“Come on! Let’s go!” he said, grabbing her hand and leading her down the street.
As they walked, Lina marveled at the sights and sounds of the city. Street vendors sold delicious food, colorful lights flickered from storefronts, and the aroma of freshly cooked meals filled the air. Taehyung pointed out various landmarks, his excitement infectious.
“First stop: my favorite café! You have to try their matcha latte,” he said, his eyes sparkling.
Lina followed him, laughing at his animated stories about the city. She felt comfortable and at ease, as if no time had passed since they last saw each other.
After a delightful coffee break filled with memories and jokes, Taehyung had one more surprise up his sleeve. “We’re meeting some friends of mine later. You’re going to love them!”
“Friends? Who?” Lina asked, curious.
“You’ll see! Just trust me!” Taehyung winked, and Lina felt a thrill of curiosity.
Later that evening, Taehyung led Lina to a stylish apartment complex in the heart of the city. “We’re here!” he said, a grin on his face.
He knocked on the door, and a moment later, it swung open to reveal a tall figure with tousled hair and a welcoming smile. “Taehyung! You made it!”
“Of course! This is my best friend Lina!” Taehyung introduced her proudly.
“Nice to meet you, Lina! I’m Jimin,” he said, extending his hand.
Lina’s breath caught in her throat as she shook Jimin’s hand. He was even more charming in person than in the videos she had seen. “Hi! It’s great to meet you too,” she replied, trying to keep her composure.
“Come in, come in!” Jimin said, stepping aside to let them enter.
Inside, the apartment was filled with laughter and music. The other BTS members were there: Jin, Suga, Jungkook, and RM, all engrossed in conversation. As Lina walked in, she felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and camaraderie.
“Hey, look who it is!” Jin exclaimed, his cheerful voice cutting through the chatter. “The famous Lina! Taehyung has told us so much about you!”
Lina blushed, suddenly feeling shy. “All good things, I hope!”
“Definitely!” Jungkook chimed in, grinning widely. “Taehyung always talks about how you guys used to get into trouble together.”
“Only the good kind of trouble!” Lina laughed, feeling more relaxed.
As the night unfolded, they shared stories, jokes, and laughter. Jimin and Lina found themselves seated next to each other, and the chemistry between them was palpable. They talked about their favorite movies, music, and the quirks of Taehyung that made them both laugh.
“Taehyung once tried to convince me that he could dance like a professional,” Lina recalled, her eyes sparkling. “He ended up tripping over his own feet!”
“Hey! That was one time!” Taehyung protested, laughing along with the others.
“More like a hundred times,” Jimin teased, nudging Taehyung playfully.
Lina joined in the laughter, enjoying the banter. As the evening continued, she noticed how Jimin’s smile made her heart race. There was something about him—his charm, his wit, and the way he listened intently that drew her in.
The night wound down, but Lina didn’t want it to end. She felt a connection with the group, especially with Jimin. As they prepared to leave, Jimin caught her eye, his expression warm and inviting.
“Hey, Lina, we should hang out more while you’re here. Maybe explore the city together?” he suggested, his voice soft but confident.
Lina felt her cheeks heat up as she nodded. “I’d love that!”
As they said their goodbyes and stepped out into the cool night air, Lina couldn’t shake off the feeling that this trip to Seoul would be far more than she had ever imagined.
