The morning sun peeked through the curtains of Lina's hotel room, gently waking her from a deep slumber. She stretched, still buzzing from the excitement of the previous night. Thoughts of Jimin's warm smile and easy laughter flooded her mind. It felt surreal to be in Seoul, not just visiting Taehyung but meeting his friends—BTS. She could hardly believe she was part of their world, even if just for a short while.

After getting ready and choosing a cute outfit, Lina texted Taehyung, eager to start the day.

Lina: “Good morning! What’s the plan for today?”

Taehyung replied almost instantly.

Taehyung: “We’re going to cook breakfast together! I hope you’re ready for some fun!”

Lina’s stomach fluttered at the idea of cooking with Taehyung and the others. She imagined it being a lighthearted and enjoyable experience, just like the night before. Little did she know, the day would unfold in a completely different manner.

A short ride later, Lina found herself at Taehyung's apartment. As she walked in, the familiar sounds of laughter and playful banter filled the air. Jimin was already there, helping Jin in the kitchen, both clad in matching aprons that read, “Kiss the Cook.”

“Good morning, chef Lina!” Jin called out, waving a spatula enthusiastically.

“Morning! What are we making?” Lina asked, stepping into the cozy kitchen, where the aroma of something delicious was wafting through the air.

“We're attempting a brunch spread: pancakes, eggs, and fruit,” Jimin explained, a hint of mischief in his eyes. “But I must warn you, Taehyung claims he’s the master chef here.”

“Pfft! We all know that’s a lie!” Taehyung shot back, pulling out a mixing bowl with a dramatic flair. “I’ll show you what real cooking looks like!”

Lina laughed, and the atmosphere instantly felt light and inviting. “Alright, then. I’m here to assist the real master.”

As they gathered the ingredients, the playful teasing began. Taehyung was determined to prove himself, and Jimin was quick to jump in with sarcastic remarks.

“Just remember, Taehyung, don’t burn down the kitchen!” Jimin teased, causing the others to chuckle.

“Hey! I can handle it!” Taehyung replied, puffing out his chest in mock confidence.

They decided to split into teams: Taehyung and Lina would tackle the pancakes while Jin and Jimin handled the eggs.

“Okay, I’ll start mixing the dry ingredients,” Taehyung said, his focus unwavering as he poured flour into the bowl. But as he measured the baking powder, he got a little carried away, dumping in way too much.

“Um, Taehyung? Are you sure that’s the right amount?” Lina asked, trying to suppress a laugh.

“Of course! More is always better!” he replied, giving her a wink.

“Just wait until they rise to the ceiling,” Jimin called over from the stove, unable to contain his laughter.

Lina mixed the batter, but as she handed it over to Taehyung to pour on the skillet, he accidentally splashed some onto the counter. “Oops!” he exclaimed, grinning sheepishly.

“Careful! You’ll make a mess!” Jin warned, shaking his head with a smile.

As they flipped pancakes, laughter echoed through the apartment. But just as everything seemed to be going smoothly, disaster struck. Taehyung, in an enthusiastic attempt to impress everyone, leaned too far over the skillet. His hand accidentally bumped into Jimin, who was trying to flip an egg at the same moment.

The egg went flying, splattering across the wall with a loud splat.

“Ahh! My masterpiece!” Jin exclaimed dramatically, pretending to clutch his chest as the egg dripped down the wall.

Lina couldn’t contain her laughter, doubling over as Taehyung and Jimin stared at each other in shock.

“Did you just throw an egg?” Taehyung accused, trying to keep a straight face.

“I didn’t throw it! You knocked me!” Jimin protested, laughing along with the group.

“Maybe we should just order breakfast instead,” Jin suggested, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes.

“No way! We’re committed now!” Taehyung declared, determination gleaming in his eyes.

With renewed energy, they cleaned up the mess, but the kitchen was soon filled with flour clouds and playful bickering. The atmosphere was lively, with everyone pitching in to salvage the breakfast plans.

As they finally got a decent batch of pancakes on the table, they sat down to enjoy their chaotic creation.

“Bon appétit!” Taehyung announced, serving everyone a stack of slightly uneven pancakes.

Lina took a bite, trying to hide her laughter. “They’re…unique!” she said diplomatically, as the others dug in.

“They’re definitely something,” Jimin said, trying to choke down a piece, his face contorting in comedic exaggeration.

“Don’t worry; I’ll add more syrup!” Taehyung insisted, pouring syrup generously over everyone’s plates.

After breakfast, the group decided to clean up the kitchen together. As they washed the dishes, the lighthearted mood continued, and they shared stories from their pasts, bringing everyone closer.

“Remember that time we tried to bake cookies and almost set the house on fire?” Jin asked, chuckling.

“Yeah! We ended up with a charred disaster instead of cookies!” Taehyung replied, shaking his head at the memory.

Lina felt a warmth spreading in her chest as she watched them. Moments like this made her realize how special it was to be part of such a tight-knit group. Jimin caught her eye, and for a moment, their laughter faded into silence. The connection between them seemed to deepen as they exchanged a smile, both knowing they had just created their own memories to cherish.

As they finished cleaning up, Taehyung declared, “Alright, what’s next on our agenda? More fun, I hope!”

Lina couldn’t wait to see what the day would bring, her heart racing at the thought of more adventures with Jimin and the rest of BTS.
