The sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink as Lina sat on the balcony of Taehyung's apartment, her legs crossed, enjoying the cool evening breeze. The sounds of bustling Seoul drifted up from the streets below, but her thoughts were elsewhere. Ever since she met Jimin, her life had transformed in ways she hadn’t anticipated. They had shared countless laughs, clumsy moments, and undeniable chemistry, but now she found herself pondering what he truly meant to her.

Just then, the door swung open, and Jimin stepped onto the balcony, his presence lighting up the evening like the moon emerging from behind a cloud. “Hey, Lina! What are you doing out here?” he asked, a smile spreading across his face, revealing the adorable dimples that always made her heart skip a beat.

“Just enjoying the view,” she replied, trying to sound casual. “How was practice?”

“Exhausting, as usual, but I’m glad to be done for the day,” he said, leaning against the railing beside her. “I was actually hoping to find you. I have something for you.”

Lina’s heart raced. “For me? What is it?” She tried to hide her excitement, but her curiosity was undeniable.

Jimin reached into his backpack and pulled out a small, neatly wrapped package. “I know it’s not your birthday or anything, but I wanted to give you this as a thank-you for being such an amazing friend,” he said, his voice softening as he handed her the gift.

“Jimin, you didn’t have to!” she exclaimed, surprised and touched.

“Just open it,” he encouraged, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.

With gentle fingers, Lina peeled back the wrapping paper, revealing a small, leather-bound sketchbook. She gasped, her heart swelling with warmth. “Oh my gosh, it’s beautiful!”

“I noticed how much you love to draw,” Jimin explained, a hint of shyness in his demeanor. “I thought you could use a special place for your ideas and sketches. I know it’s not much, but I hope it inspires you.”

Lina opened the sketchbook, flipping through the blank pages, imagining all the creations she could fill them with. “This is perfect, Jimin! Thank you so much!” She looked up, her eyes meeting his. “I can’t believe you thought of this.”

Jimin shrugged, his cheeks turning a slight shade of pink. “I wanted to do something nice for you. You’ve brought so much joy into my life, and I just wanted to show my appreciation.”

Her heart fluttered at his words. “You’ve done more for me than you know. This means a lot,” she said sincerely. She could feel the connection between them deepening, and the evening air felt charged with a new energy.

“Can I see one of your sketches?” Jimin asked, his curiosity evident.

“Sure! But you might regret asking,” she teased, her cheeks flushing with a mix of excitement and embarrassment.

“Come on, I can handle it,” he replied with a playful grin.

Lina rummaged through her bag and pulled out a small drawing she had done recently—an intricate sketch of the Seoul skyline. “Here it is!” she said, handing it to him.

Jimin’s eyes widened as he examined her work. “This is amazing! You’re so talented, Lina. I can’t believe you drew this.”

“Thank you! I’ve been practicing a lot, but I still have a long way to go,” she admitted, her shyness creeping back.

“Practice makes perfect,” he said encouragingly, handing the drawing back to her. “You have a gift, and you should share it with the world. Maybe one day, you could even have an exhibition!”

Lina’s cheeks flushed at the thought. “That would be a dream come true, but I’m not sure if I’m ready for that yet.”

Jimin leaned in closer, his expression serious yet gentle. “You’ll never know until you try. I believe in you, Lina. You have something special, and you shouldn’t hide it.”

His sincerity made her heart swell. She felt a mixture of gratitude and something deeper—something that made her want to take a leap of faith, not just in her art but in their relationship.

“Thank you, Jimin. That means the world to me,” she said softly. “You’ve always believed in me, and I appreciate that more than you know.”

As they stood together in the fading light, the air around them felt charged with unspoken words. Jimin’s gaze lingered on her, and she felt a thrill of warmth wash over her.

“Hey, let’s go inside. I think the others are planning a surprise dinner for you,” Jimin said, breaking the momentary silence, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Lina laughed, realizing they had gotten lost in their own little world. “What? You mean they’re planning a surprise without me?”

“Yeah, I heard Taehyung plotting something. Let’s go see what they’ve cooked up!” he said, taking her hand and leading her back inside.

As they walked in, the laughter and chatter of the BTS members filled the air, bringing them back to the warmth of friendship and the joy of being surrounded by people who cared. But as they joined the festivities, Lina couldn’t shake the feeling that her connection with Jimin was growing into something deeper—something worth exploring. And with the sketchbook safely tucked under her arm, she felt inspired to embrace whatever lay ahead.
