Raising A Bun In The Apocalypse

After six days An Yiyi had collected all her relevant materials, and she was only left with a four hundred fifty thousand cash, which is still alot. The payment for the weapons and the online shopping was settled already and she added 3000 ready made meals but it was quite difficult to spend.

Today, she went out again while little bun was tired from practicing his martial arts lesson for a while.

Buying more things while she can, An Yiyi went into the mall again, disguised as a man, incase there was anything to catch her eye.

In the sports section of the mall she decided to buy some winter gear; skiing materials, sled, ice skate, helmet, visor, gloves. Also buying 30 more sportswear in her size and 10 a little bigger and 20 toddler size, 20 teen size and 60 adult male size. Fur jackets and thermal wear 10 rach.

Also bought 5 mobile kayaks that could seat 6 and 5 smaller ones. Then she bought 30 paddle. She was unsure wether there would be a flood, since the extreme heat lasted for a while, closely followed by the extreme cold, and then earthquakes... it shouldn't be, but it could also be used for travel.

Then she bought 30 more durable bags in xl and xxl. She also bought 50 more heating pad, 20 thermos and 30 xl tents and 30 l tents. Also buying 50 sleeping bags and 50 signal flare, 100 boxes of water resistant matches and 50 insect-proof wear. Insect repellant spray and lotion were each bought in 150 quantity. Directly take them into her rented hummer— yes, she "rented" the hummer from before for a few months.

The big things like kayak, tent etc. were to be sent to the warehouse, immediately. She watched them load it into the vehicle so it was supposed to be quick. She will swing by the warehouse.

An Yiyi also went to the appliance section, and bought 30 ice maker, 10 airconditioner, and 30 generators. Also bought 10 more fans, and 30 more mini fas. Buying also some oven, microwave, blender, ice tray, curtains and 100 shelves directly.

Using the excuse of decorating a company warehouse, ofcourse. An Yiyi sent it away to the  place quickly.

An Yiyi then went into the book store and bought 50 books in agriculture, 50 books in mathematics and science, 50 books in languages, 50 books in philosphy, 50 books in medicine, 50 books in history, 50 comic books and just for a treat for herself, directly bought 300 romance, comedy and light novels.

Then she also bought 10 1tb tablets, 30 laptops with the highest memory and quality. 50 more high caliber powerbank and 20 more chargers. Later when they settle into the base, there would be electricty, so it's good to have these things to pass time.

Spending money is a good thing. An Yiyi intends to leave only 70,000 cash, so she drove all the way out to the city and bought things like medicine, also filling up her gas tank and taking it to space, buying more water, containers, food, fruits and snacks.

Then she was satisfied and collected the things bought from the mall into space.

An Yiyi left only a bare amount of money. Afterall, she still has to buy alongside others in the regulated marketplace, so others won't have ill intentions towards their family and think they've stocked up.

It's best not to let others have an idea of how much supply she has.

In the internet, people have already been complaining in various platforms about the weird weather. The television is also buzzing with news about drying dams, pests and high temperature, urging more people to stay indoors.

An Yiyi felt happy as she and An Wei had dinner, talking about anything cheerily.

The news was playing in the background and was interrupted by a breaking news...

"City M and H have announced a lockdown, after an unknown virus is discovered and people are infected. Scientists are still studying the virus and are optimistic of finding a cure. It is spread through blood, a bite or scratching. If you, or a loved one is experiencing the following symptoms, self isolate. The officials are urging everyone to stay at home and avoid going out at this time."

An Yiyi's shoulders slumped, and she hugged An Wei to her side.
