It was nearly 10 pm when Yoongi stood at the Boseong railway station. He had not eaten much in two days and it showed on his face. "Boseong Police Station," he whispered somehow, as he hailed a taxi from outside the station

********

Taehyung had been sitting there for a couple of hours now, and he was just waiting for Detective Seokjin to come back. However, the person who entered the waiting area suddenly wasn't Seokjin. It was Kang, Jungkook's father. Before Taehyung could gather his wits, the blows to his face sucked the air out of him. He didn't even get the time to process anything before another blow met his face and he fell to the floor. "What did he ever do to you? What did he ever do to anyone?" Kang was shouting but everything was moving in front of him and thus Taehyung couldn't make sense of anything that was happening around him. The only person trying to pull Kang back was Seokjin. He was trying to control a person who looked like a grieving father to him.

By now Taehyung was utterly confused and physically hurt. Everyone in the station was by now trying to hold Kang back. And Kang was thrashing around with the strength of a large wild beast. Taehyung took a moment to gather his wits and he quickly understood that whatever was going on was not going in the direction of finding Jungkook. But for him, that was his ONLY priority. Find Jungkook. Find Jungkook. FIND Jungkook, his heart raced, even while he was hurting.

He saw his opening and tried to make a run. And he did succeed - to go to the main road where a fast moving vehicle didn't see him and managed to just swerve in time to save him from getting hit. Taehyung fell on the opposite side of the road where he hurt his head. The moment he could blink and look around, he saw Seokjin, standing next to him shaking his head in great disapproval.

'where did they go'?"

Realisation dawned over Yoongi and he hurriedly thanked the inspector before heading home. He needed to take a shower, a change of clothes, and some other things before he left for Boseong. Whether he was going or not was not even a question.

Jinho opened the door and she looked like she was done silently watching whatever was going on. It was also true that she didn't care but she hated being a bystander in a matter concerning her own married life. "What is that boy to you? Who is he?"

Yoongi didn't have answers. The facades were long gone between them and neither did he want to pretend anymore for the sake of his farce of a marriage. However, the other person deserved to know his truth, Yoongi's ethics said. "I don't know." was all Yoongi could respond to.

"Where are you going?" Jinho asked, her arms crossed. Her question sounded rhetoric and it felt like she already knew the answer.

"Boseong. The police have Aehyun in custody. Because of me." Yoongi replied, zipping up his suitcase.

"If you go today, Yoongi, then that would be it. This marriage or whatever we have is too weak to cater to any third person." Jinho replied with a determination in his voice.

"Then, I guess, this is it," Yoongi replied, locking his eyes with Jinho. They stood there in a staring match where no one wanted to concede, but Yoongi was on a deadline today.

"I wish you the best, Jinho,' were Yoongi's last words to Jinho as he stepped out of his suffocating marriage, and into the crisp Seoul air.
