Season 3, Episode 11: Fighting Fate

Opening Scene: Giulio's Realization

The night after the confrontation, Giulio stood on a rooftop overlooking the city. The cool wind blew through his hair as he stared into the distance, his mind replaying Stanley’s words over and over.

Stanley (echoing in Giulio's mind):
"I don’t care if you’re my maker. You abandoned me."

Giulio had always believed walking away was for the best—that pushing Stanley away would protect him from the dangers of their world. But the truth had hit him hard: he had been running from his own fears, not protecting Stanley. And now, he had lost him. The thought of Stanley being with someone else, living a life without him, twisted a knot of jealousy in his chest, but this time it was deeper—he realized how much he still loved him.

For the first time, Giulio made a decision.
He wasn’t going to run anymore. He wasn’t going to let Stanley slip away.

Giulio (to himself, voice low but determined):
“I’m not losing you again, Stanley. Not without a fight.”

Scene Transition: Giulio's Determination

The next morning, Giulio set out with a purpose he hadn’t felt in centuries. He walked the streets, following traces of Stanley’s scent and aura, as he remembered the moments they had shared—the good and the bad. He had abandoned Stanley, yes, but now he was going to fight for him. He’d fight through whatever stood in the way, even Stanley’s anger and mistrust.

Voiceover (Giulio, resolute):
"I left to protect you, but I was wrong. You were stronger than I gave you credit for. You always were."

His mind raced with plans—how to approach Stanley, what to say. But in truth, he didn’t know what would work. The only thing he was sure of was that he couldn’t give up this time. He couldn’t let his fears control him anymore. He had made mistakes, but now, he was ready to fix them.

Scene Transition: Giulio Finds Stanley

Days later, Giulio spotted Stanley leaving a bar with the same person he had kissed in the alley. That same pang of jealousy flared up inside Giulio, but he swallowed it down. This wasn’t about possessiveness anymore—this was about showing Stanley that he was willing to fight for him.

He followed at a distance, watching as Stanley said goodbye to the stranger and walked off alone. This was his chance.

Giulio quickened his pace, catching up to Stanley as he reached the street corner.

Giulio (calling out):
“Stanley, wait!”

Stanley froze at the sound of Giulio’s voice, his body stiffening. Slowly, he turned around, his expression hard. The anger, the pain from their last encounter still simmered beneath the surface.

Stanley (coldly):
“What do you want, Giulio?”

For a moment, Giulio didn’t know what to say. All his rehearsed speeches, his careful thoughts, vanished. He realized that nothing he said could undo the damage. He couldn’t just ask for forgiveness and expect things to go back to the way they were.

But he could be honest.

Giulio (voice raw, stepping closer):
“I’m sorry. I was wrong to leave. I thought it was the right thing to do... but I was wrong.”
