The Hogwarts Express arrived at Hogwarts. Harry stood up and headed for the door, when Draco stopped him. ''Wait, Potter!'' he said as he closed the door before Harry could walk out. ''Don't speak of, this,''- he waved his hands between the two of them -''to anyone.'' The Potter boy nodded quickly in response. ''Good.'' Draco stated and let Harry go before walking out of the compartment himself. Blaise and Pansy were waiting outside for him. ''Where the hell were you?! I had to sit with Potter!!'' he exclaimed angrily and disgusted. ''Oh don't fool yourself Draco, we saw you sitting with Potter, smiling at him fondly..'' Pansy said, teasing Draco. ''We decided to let you sit with your boyfriend, how nice of us, right Draco?'' Blaise explained with a rather monotone and stern voice. ''He . is . not . my . boyfriend!'' Malfoy sneered through his teeth. Pansy rolled her eyes, ''Whatever helps you sleep at night..'' she said sarcastically as they started walking towards the castle.

Harry walked up to his dorm which he shared with Ron, Neville, Seamus and Dean. They were already there, unpacking their suitcases. ''Where the hell were you guys and Hermione?! I had to sit with bloody Draco Malfoy the entire way here!'' Harry yelled. ''I'm sorry Harry but we missed the train and had to fly all the way here with my fathers car. We almost died.'' Ron explained quickly. Harry calmed down and started unpacking his things as well. He thought about what Draco said, that he shouldn't tell anyone about their encounter. But nothing even happened so what was he talking about, he seemed so nervous that I would tell Ron and Hermione. And the entire trip here he was acting weird and not like the cunning Draco we all know and dislike. He decided to talk to Ron about it. ''Hey Ron?'' he asked, ''Malfoy was acting so weird during the trip here, he wasn't his usual, mean, self at all. On the contrary, he was kind of, kind of nice..'' Harry told Ron carefully. ''Nice?! Malfoy acting nice?! Are you bloody mad Harry?! You must have imagined it or read to much into it like you do all the time.'' Ron responded quite shocked. ''Whatever, you're probably right anyways.'' Harry answered before Hermione knocked on the door. ''Ron, Harry, we better head down to the Great Hall for the first years sorting ceremony this instant! I do not like to be late.'' Harry and Ron both rolled their eyes and mocked her before following Hermione downstairs.

When they arrived in the Great Hall, everyone was already finding their seat at their house tables. Ron, Hermione and Harry sat down at the Gryffindor table next to Seamus, Neville and Dean.

Dumbledore used the amplifying charm Sonorus to make his voice louder. ''SILENCE!'' he yelled. ''I have an announcement to make.'' he said and took a deep breath. Wondering whether the students will obey his order. ''Every single student here in Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry''-you could hear his voice echoing through the hall-''will be sorted into houses yet again, and for the first years, you will also be sorted into a house just like everyone else.'' You could hear every single person in the hall gasping before they all started to ramble about professor Dumbledore's statement.

''SILENCE!'' Dumbledore yelled, and yet again, you could hear his voice echoing through the Great Hall.

Why would he make such a decision, Harry thought to himself. Everyone is already sorted into a house that fits them best. Harry decided to bluntly ask him, then and there.

''But why, professor? Why do we all have to get re-sorted into a house? That makes no sense.''

''Not everything has to make sense Harry, some things are not to be made sense of. Definitely not by the mind of the youth.'' Dumbledore answered. Not that Harry understood any of the wise old words he was chanting this time.

''Now I want each and every one of you to stand up here and put the sorting hat on when I call your name. First years go first.'' Dumbledore explained.
