I get off the phone with Simon. I'm grinning like a lunatic. "Hmm? Who's this Simon then?" Debbie asks, a raised eyebrow in place.

"A friend." She continues giving me a look. I sigh. "Fine. He's the doctor that patched me up, and the guy I had a hot chocolate with a last night. That's it." I laugh.

I head out of the room, carrying the clothes I'd brought down with me. I come face to face with Darren, walking towards me. With out saying anything, he pushes me back against the wall, holding onto my wrists. "Uh, Hello?" I say. He lowers his face to mine.

"What happened between you and Amelia?" He asks, his breath dancing on my cheeks. I shake my head, trying to break free of his grip.

"It doesn't matter. Let me go, I need to go and get ready."

He cocks an eyebrow. "Yeah, for your date with Simon." He pretty much spits his name. Well someone's not a Simon fan. I nod, tilting my head up.

"Yes, with Simon. Someone who doesn't go for models." I say. This catches Darren off guard, and I manage to push past him, towards the stairs. I go into the bathroom, locking the door behind me. I have a shower, and someone knocks on the door. I rush, wrapping my towel around me. It barely passes my bum.

I open the door slightly. It's Darren. "Debbie said to tell you they're leaving, and to make sure ...the boy ... brings you home by 3." His blue eyes rake over my clothesless body. "Although," He starts, stepping into the bathroom. He closes the door behind him. "You could always cancel?" He tells me.

He takes my shoulders, swapping our positions, me against the door. He leans his head down, kissing my lips. I'm holding onto the top of my towel, so it wont fall. Darren brings a hand up, holding the towel, and I'm worried he's going to pull it. But instead, he holds on to it, tightly, and grabs my other hand, placing it behind his neck.

He then snakes an arm around my waist, holding me close, holding onto my lips the whole time. Darren starts trailing light kisses from the corner of my mouth, down to my collar bone. "You could stay here with me." He murmurs into my skin.

I'm so tempted to say yes. But, I swear that's just my hormones talking. I don't want to stay here. It takes all my will power to pull away from him. "No, I'm going out with Simon." I say, with a shaky voice. "Can you go, so I can get changed?" I manage a voice that doesn't sound like someone silently dying of feels inside.

Darren pulls back, and looks down into my brown eyes. His blue ones are cloudy. Then, he silently moves away. I move from the door, opening it as I do. He takes one last look at me, then walks out of the bathroom. I lock the door again, leaning against it. That was ... I can't even describe it.

I dry myself off, putting on some clothes. I walk out of the bathroom, pausing outside of my room. I hear voices. Amelia's ... and someone else?

I quietly open the door to my bedroom, and my heart sinks to my feet. Darren is laying on my bed, his jeans undone, and Amelia is straddling him, hands down his trousers. "What the hell?" I demand. They both stop what they're doing, and look up to me. Amelia's eyes are wide, and her mouth drops open. Then it turns into a smirk.

Darren ... Darren just looks at me. He doesn't even look embarrassed. He was with me, kissing me, only minutes ago. But now he's in here, looking like he's close to getting the full Monty, with my 'Best Friend'.

"I ..." I can feel my eyes burning. I look straight at Amelia. "I can't ..." Then, to Darren. "I can't believe you. Both of you. Have fun." I storm out of my room, slamming the door behind me. I let the tears start flowing.

I didn't know where I stood with Darren before, but now I do. I know that Amelia was right. He only cares about the looks. I was nothing more to him, than a little something to pass the time. I hear a horn beep outside, and I know it's Simon. I pick up my shoes, and run down the stairs, out of the door. I get into Simon's car, still without my socks on.
